Project Summary

Smart Health Monitoring App is an Application that provides core features to keep up your body fit and healthy. SHMA is android based application which can be used by general public or professional athletes. The user first registers with the app and enters its physical attributes i.e. height, weight, etc. And the system will be self-capable to generate a customized diet plan for each user to register the app. So, the system will take care of the food you consume over the day and helps in filtering the fats, carbohydrates, protein intake. Along with the diet suggestion and monitoring, the system provides facilities like step counter and water intake. The system will monitor daily water consumption and generate alarms accordingly. This application will have user-friendly interfaces that show statistical information using graphs and charts of the progress of the particular user.

Project Objectives

Nowadays days many people don’t know what to eat and when to eat. Poor eating habits include under-or over-eating, not having enough of the healthy foods we need each day, or consuming too many types of food and drink, which are low in fiber or high in fat, salt or sugar. These unhealthy eating habits can affect our nutrient intake, including energy protein, carbohydrates, essentials fatty acids, and vitamins.  Many people also want to do a diet but don’t know how to maintain their diet. And how and when they should sleep, drink water and eat food. So the main objectives are

  • To generate a healthy diet plan for people
  • To help people to maintain a healthy lifestyle
  • Help people to monitor their health
  • Help people to save their time and money on gym and diet consultants

We are using a waterfall methodology for this project. We will fellow as fellows

  2. Analysis
  3. Design
  4. Coding
  5. Testing
  6. Operations

Currently, we are in our design phases. This is best suited for a suit for our project because our project is big the waterfall approach divided into phases.

  • It will record and analyze your daily activities and habits to help maintain a successful diet and lead a healthy lifestyle.
  • This app will help to create a balanced lifestyle pattern by recording a variety of information of the user like food, step count and water intake details for different kinds of peoples.
  • Provides daily snacks, food, water, and caffeine intake and tracks users' diet and weight on the go while staying comfortable using the sleep tracker.
  • The intuitive charts, helpful tips guide the user to achieve his or her fitness and diet goals. This application can be used by anyone young or old who needs to keep track and monitor their diet.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Smart Health Monitoring App will be an Android Application that provides core features to keep up your body fit and healthy. It also helps those peoples who are thin and wants to gain some weight or people like bodybuilders who need some gain extra body mass as well. The product functions are more or less the same as the product perspective.

  • The user register with the application with their physical attributes i.e. height, weight, etc.
  • The system generates a customized diet plan for each user registered with the application.
  • The system will count the number of the user on a daily basis.
  • The system will have a water alarm system to monitor the water consumption of the user.
  • The user will provide the interface to change or update their details or physical attributes.
  • The user will have information about how much progress they have been made yet.
  • The system will generate alerts to impose the diet plan and water consumption.
  • The system will generate attractive charts to better understand the information
