Project Summary

We aim to design a wearable that can be used to monitor muscle fatigue and growth in real time and assist the user in workout.

Project Objectives

• Developing an easy to use system to monitor muscle fatigue in real time.
• Monitoring the results of EMG and GSR and suggest which muscles require more exercise and which need to be at rest.
• Connecting the system to an app and suggest exercise tutorials on the basis of results achieved by EMG and GSR sensors.

Project Implementation Method

• Sensors (EMG + GSR) will be embedded inside the garment (a sleeve in our case).
• The data from these sensors will be continuously monitored through a smartphone app which in turn will be connected to our system's database.
• Data from sensors will be transmitted to the app thorugh bluetooth and app will connect with our database using internet connection.

Benefits of the Project

• It is observed that sometimes desired results are not obtained after workout and excess exercise of a muscle or wrong moves/postures can lead to injuries as well.
• Monitoring on real time will help to avoid these problems

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

• Final deliverable will include :
• A wearable that can be used during workout/gym/rehab
• Wearable will be embedded with EMG and GSR sensors
• Sensors will send data to our smartphone app through bluetooth
• App will analyze the data by connectingt to our system's database
