Unmanned Aerial Vehicle for Medicine Delivery
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) are a class of aircrafts that can fly without the onboard presence of pilots. Due to innovation in machine automation and artificial intelligence (AI), surveillance and security paradigms are changing. We have to remove the human pilots from danger. For this, an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) is used.
In the past, we control the Quad-Copter with the remote. With this, we move it in all directions. But in this project the Quad-Copter controls itself. Quadrotor motion is controlled by varying the speed of the four rotors. This will not only pave the way for different options of controlling these aircraft but also, and more importantly, be able to deliver the medicines or first aid kit. UAVs can operate as flying mobile terminals within a cellular network. Such cellular-connected UAVs can enable several applications ranging from real-time video streaming to item delivery.
First of all, we will implement it in soft form. After this connect the APM controller with the battery and connect this battery with a power distribution board to distribute power to all components. This PDB is connected with our electronic speed controller which is connected with our Brushless motor to control the speed of the motor by using APM instruction. A GPS module will be attached with APM to give a path.
With the help of this Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, we can transfer the medicine from Pharmacy or Hospital to someone's house for protection from COVID-19.
Also the areas of lockdown it is an easy way to give them medicines.
In Northern areas it is difficult for Ambulance to reach Mountain top it will also help there.
When a Blood group is short from Hospital we can order it from another hospital without wasting our time in traffic.
An autonomous Quadcopter that is capable of take-off and perfect landing. An APM will control its every motion. And by a software mission planner, we will give commands to our UAV.
This UAV is capable of holding 1 kg weight of a Blood bottle or first aid kit. The Battery of our UAV is chargeable. It also tells us about the height at which it is flying.
