Project Summary

Our project is divided into two things, one is the Smart cart system and the other part is the Smart Shelf System. The Smart Cart is the new innovated Cart, in which there would be a place to install Mobile phone, after which an application would open into the phone by which we would able to get all the required information about the Store, any promotion or discounts which are going on and the way to approach that place with Map. Furthermore, the main thing which is present in the cart is this that it has RFID through which we would be able to know about the bill in real time through which it would really easy to know how much money we have to pay at the end, so we buy the things sensibly. So anyone would be aware of the bill amount which he has to pay and if they add up the details of the credit card into the application, which would safe and secure that's definite, they need not to stand in long queues for the bill, they can pay bill online and can go home.

The Second Part is the Smart Shelf System, currently, the technology which is working in Pakistan is this that the store management comes to know about the amount left in shelf once the bill is done and the thing is subtracted from the stock. There isn't any real time management by which anyone can come to know when someone picks the stock from the shelf and at that time we come to know that something has been picked up and if that thing has finished we need to add it urgently so that people could get benefited. So we are developing the Smart Shelf by which the Store management can come to know about the real-time stock management when anyone would pick up anything at the same time it would be deducted from the stock by which the store would be able to identify and keep the shelves full so that maximum sale can happen.

Project Objectives

The Objective of the Project is real-time data management for the big malls, stores and for the customers. Customers would be benefited by knowing everything before billing time and the Stores Management would be aware of the stock present during the time when shopping is being done. It would facilitate both the parties at the same time 

Project Implementation Method

The Implementation would be like this that, shelves would be made smart for this, as the previous shelves can be adjusted and made smart and for this purpose.

On the Carts, we need to make an adjustment that place is available for keeping the phone and RFID reader is kept furthermore Application would be developed which would work with this.

Benefits of the Project

Benefits are amazing, there would no long lines for bills and people would be aware of how much anything is costing, rather than getting the surprise at the billing counter. The main benefit goes to the Mall and store owners, they can increase their sales by updating the stock immediately which is being decreased quickly, they can come to know which thing is in trend for the day so they can keep that thing more into the shelves so people can easily buy. 

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We are going to develop the develop Andriod and Ios application when we are going to attach it with Phone the application would open up and we are going to use the sensors such as the Infra Red, Pressure and the Counting Sensors for the Shelves. RFID sensors would be used for the carts.
