As technology progressed lives have been significantly improved due to the emergence of laborsaving and intelligent utilities. However shopping carts in major stores have experienced little changes and serve only simple purposes ever since they were first manufactured. "INTRODUCING SMART CART"
As the name itself indicates (smart cart)/ Human following cart ; i.e A cart having some special features and has the capability to follow it's leader that is customer.
A smart shopping cart is technically upgraded cart for shopping process.The purpose of this project is to implement an automatic shopping cart that provides great convenience and efficiency to customers, which eliminates customers labor/lifters to push heavy loaded carts.

According to present scenarios , Now a days shopping at malls becoming daily activities in metro cities. Besides, the weight of shopping carts get some times heavier which is difficult for people to drag the trolley from one place to another. Moreover, people often shop in their selected budgets, to ensure the product's price or total, in seconds without querries .
unfolding implementing a system that will solve a dilemma for pushing heavy carts and a barcode scanner to sustain budget.

Microsoft kinect sensor subsists of infrared projector and a camera . A special microchip to track movement of objects and individuals.This kinect sensor will be installed in a cart which will be able to provide a natural user interface that allows users to interact without any intermediary device.Dc motors with L293D Ic motors will determine the direction and generation of the cart via using Arduino (UNO) signal and respect to the motors it will able to move to the required distance.An ultrasonic sensor is inherited to make sure the cart is avoiding obstacles, and A barcode scanner is planted to monitor the aggregated cost .

Our project is capable to track the movement of the user (Human) at the desired position.The shopping cart is equipped with ultrasonic sensors and kinect sensors.The beauty of all this system is that it uses all of these sensors in the most effective way to help it react.Unmanned operation requires sensor system for target position, sensors for load position and control and communication equipment on the cart.Furthermore it will be largely helpful in medicare sector, childcare, luggage handling and also in the area of material handling in industries.
