Smart Augmented Reality Virtual Store
The 'Smart Augmented Reality Virtual Store' is an AR Based mobile application that allows eCommerce customers to preview products or experience services in their environment and on their own time, before electing to make a purchase. Using AR, users can preview products and be more likely to pick the right product the first time. Virtual try-on allows them to see how the item will look before adding it to the shopping cart.
The application will allow the user to visualize different products like watches, jewelry, clothing in real-time with a combination of real and virtual worlds. Virtual Try-on experiences within our existing system and product pages allow customers to get a real sense of the look, feel, and size of products. The application provides a highly user-friendly experience and easy to use application that can be used by any audience of any age. Users can also share their AR store experience with their friends on their social media. To be precise New concept will be offering customers “Try Before Buy” AR features within environment of customer.
By keeping in the mind, the Fourth Industrial Revolution (or Industry 4.0) is the ongoing automation of traditional manufacturing and industrial practices, using modern augmented reality technology our application aim is to transform the way of e-commerce or online shopping. Our main objective is to value in giving customers a deeper level of insight into their product ranges and a great demonstration of the product that the consumer is investing in. It allows products to personalize the user experience and better meet the expectations of their customers. By letting customers try on products from the comfort of their home, we can grow eCommerce sales and significantly decrease return rates.
An incremental Process Model will be used for the development of AR Watches. We have chosen this incremental model because requirements divided into multiple standalone modules, and each module goes through different), and long-term plans are not made. This model allows us to add more functions and modules to the project later if needed. Partial systems are built to produce the final system but first tackled the highest priority requirements. During this testing, faulty elements of the software can be quickly identified because few changes are made within any single iteration. Following are some benefits that Incremental Process Model will offer
Generates working software quickly and early during the software life cycle.
More flexible and less costly to change scope and requirements.
Each iteration can easily manage milestones.
Such a model is used in web applications and product-based companies. Once the requirement is developed, requirements for that increment are frozen. It is flexible and less expensive to change requirements and scope.
A customer can respond to each building. Major requirements must be defined; however, some details can evolve with time.
Attract new shoppers:
The application will attract the new shopper toward the new way of online shopping. Besides having fun with modern technology, customer intent to shop can be increased 6x. The AR technology in e-commerce will sell and feel confident before adding the items into their shopping carts, making sure they get what they need.
Increase customer engagement:
With Augmented Reality technology in eCommerce, we can increase customer engagement with the product they are willing to buy.
Brands that engage and interact with their customers have a much higher chance of success and lead generation.
Better conversion at the point of sale:
The Smart Augmented Reality Virtual Store will sell and feel confident before adding the items into their shopping carts, making sure they get what they need. Along with proposing 3D views, it can show what a product looks like in a consumer’s space, making it much easier to make a purchasing judgment.
Improves customer satisfaction and reduces returns:
According to a statement from customer experience platform Narvar, the top reason why consumers returned goods from Amazon (34%) and other retailers (46%), was the wrong size, fit, or color. By offering online products “tangible,” brands improve buyer confidence and, in turn, reduces returns. Customers are more likely to hit “add to cart,” which improves sales. They are less likely to return items, which saves companies on shipping, restocking, and repackaging costs. It’s a financial win-win for companies, as well as a win for their customer satisfaction.
Personalizes the shopping experience:
Augmented Reality in e-commerce improves the shopping experience by making it interactive. By providing customers control over digital elements in their real space, they feel more relevant to the product and your brand. They can adjust features, colors, sizes, and scroll through products that appeal to them the most. It’s as if they have a floor salesperson at their fingertips.
Converted all the requirements gathered and analyzed in the previous phase into the implementable software solution. Implementation of this application is,
Our main research components are based on implementing the mobile application. Training and optimizing ML models for the detection and tracking in the live camera feed. Both markerless and marker-based 3D model augmentation. Besides, the Virtual Try-on and E-showroom functionality will be implemented as co-work, in addition to the main 4 research components.
Introducing new functionalities update the existing function come under this phase. Correct faults to improve the performance and other requirements. Undefined bug correction also comes under this phase.
ARCore: is a platform developed by Google for building augmented reality experiences. Using different APIs, ARCore enables your mobile phone to sense its environment, understand the world and interact with information. Some of the APIs are available across both Android and IOS to enable shared AR experiences.
TensorFlow: TensorFlow is an open-source software library originally developed by researchers and engineers of the Google Brain team within Google’s AI organization, for high performance 20 numerical computation. Its flexible architecture allows easy development of computation across a variety of platforms such as CPUs, GPUs, TPUs, and from desktop to clusters of servers to mobile and edge devices. It has strong support for machine learning and deep learning. Google's TensorFlow is the most widely used machine learning library.
ML Kit: is a mobile SDK that brings Google's machine learning expertise to Android and iOS apps in a powerful yet easy-to-use package. ML Kit provides convenient APIs that allow us to use our own custom TensorFlow models in mobile apps.
Under technical benefits, we consider about the,
• Development of mobile app which capable of capture images, analysis the object and put on augmented reality object.
• Develop machine learning models to identify the wrist, neck, detect feature points, and analysis of those models
• To provide service to app develop web server with a centralized server.
As we see more about how augmented reality can shape our world's experiences, this new technology could create an opportunity for safer training, build more reliable repositories for digital information, and turn virtual objects into the next big thing. This System will give shoppers a new way to experience products when Augmented Reality (AR) is added to the online store.
