Project Summary

The main aim of developing this Arduino based IoT project is to provide safe & secure journey while travelling to the Curve roads, Hill Stations, etc. In this IoT project we are using 2 IR sensors, Arduino board and blue tooth, status indications LEDs Red & Green. In a Curve route when the vehicle is coming from one direction, these 2 IR sensors detects that there is a vehicle coming and the alert signal is sent to the opposite side vehicle and the same thing can be updated in the Android app also. When the signal is green it indicates that it is safe to take turn which means there is no vehicle coming in opposite direction. These 2 sensors can give input to the Arduino and will send data to blue tooth and blue tooth send data to android app

  • Once the accident occurs to the vehicle this system will send information to registered mobile number.
  • Automatic alert system
  • To reduce accident
  • Save valuable property
  • The proposed system will check whether an accident has occurred and notifies to nearest medical centers and registered mobile numbers about the place of accident using GSM and GPS modules

Project Implementation Method

The implementation approach for the selection and prioritization of the initial set of safety measures is presented based on an accident analysis. First, We are using 2 IR sensors, Arduino board and blue tooth, status indications LEDs Red & Green. In a Curve route When the vehicle is coming from one direction, these 2 IR sensors senses that there is a vehicle is coming and the alert signal is sent to the opposite side vehicle and the same thing can be updated in the Android app also.

When the signal is green it indicates that it is safe to take turn which means there is no vehicle is coming in opposite direction.

These 2 sensors can give input to the Arduino and will send data to blue tooth and blue tooth send data to android app.
