Meals on wheels website helps customers to search for their desirable meals and find the food they crave and order from restaurants easily. We also add an extra feature called a mess feature in which hostellers can find home-based mess services food weekly or monthly according to their budgets. In meals on wheels, the user gets to register themselves. The Food provider (Restaurant or home-based mess provider) advertises the post by adding details and pictures of the food. The posted advertisement can also be updated or deleted. The customer can search for food and order the desirable food or mess and can also have the option of online payment.
In this project, we make a website that connects the users and restaurants. The project title is Meals on Wheels. In Meals, on Wheels, the user gets to register themselves. The different restaurants advertise their foods by adding details and pictures of their food items. The host can also view the interested users in his/her uploaded posts. The uploaded post can also be updated or deleted. Customers can search for their desirable meals and find the food they crave and order from restaurants easily with the Meals on Wheels website. After selecting the desired meal customer can track their food order in real-time and get their food delivered by delivery people using the Meals on Wheels website. Customers can also have the option of online payment. Customers can also browse nearby restaurants and search for food by restaurant name, dish, or meal. Our project has also had the ability to manage big data.
Tools that would be used during this project preparation are as follows:
Visual Studio: It provides latest functionalities regarding Web based development. We used bootstrap and HTML, CSS, JS languages in front end and Laravel language at backend.
My SQL: My SQL will be used for database purpose according to the requirements and infrastructure of the project.
This system will help to manage deal between customer and restaurants owners (also including home-based mess providers) and run the online meals on wheels business systematically. In this system, we will provide a website that can be used by the customer to find best food deals and restaurants owners (also including home-based mess providers) that can offer best food deals. Customers can also give feedback through this app. So that admin can evaluate the whole system. This system is the need of the time. Everyone who is hosteller in big cities want to eat like a homemade food in low rates, So this website is helpful for those peoples.
To overcome the existing problem, we decide to make a website (named meals on wheels) where service provider and customer can interact with each other and where the customer can search for homemade mess services in his nearby place and then analyzes all the food/mess deals they offered on a monthly or weekly basis with prices. So, if it's good to deal according to the customer’s taste and budget then he can subscribe to a mess services provider and start to avail his services on a weekly or monthly basis.
On the other hand, women in houses can earn money by offering their food or mess services through our meals on the wheels website platform.
