Color blindness is the lack of visioning the colors. It is the deficiency that in which the one faces difficulties in differentiating the colors and the shades of colors. The color blindness is term that refers to define the situations of colors. Color blindness refers to that one cant see the proper shade of color that a normal person can see. Most of the peoples don’t have awareness about their this type of deficiency.People with color blindness aren’t aware of differences among colors that are obvious to the rest of us. People who don’t have the more severe types of color blindness may not even be aware of their condition unless they’re tested in a clinic or laboratory. ­­­So by focusing on this issue of color blind peoples, we have designed a website named ‘shadow of colors’. This website will consist of a test to check whether the person is color blind or not and also this website will contain a solution for color blind persons. The test’s result will based on level and type of color blindness. The result of this test will let person know about its vision deficiency level that whether he/she has severe level of deficiency With this vision problem, the person have difficulty distinguishing certain colors, such as blue and yellow or red and green. So, this test will also let people know that which type of color they had; either they have problem in red, green, blue or yellow, so that they can work according to their deficiency and take help of someone in that color perception in which he/she had some problem to avoid mistakes. Through this test, the one can get to know if he/she had color of deficiency and can make amendments to overcome this problem. This shadow of colors website will make peoples aware about their vision deficiency, so that the one can concentrate on his weakness and can make his color perception better. We have also provide the solution on this website in order to help colorblind peoples to differentiate among colors. The solution is to add the google extension to chrome which turns the normal vision color into color blind peoples  color vision.

Project Objectives

 To provide a website based color blindness test.

•  To let peoples know either he/she is color blind or not.
• To provide output of test to the peoples that which level and type of color blind he/she is.

 To provides solution to differentiate among different colors if they are color blind.

•  To make the vision of a person according to his/her eye deficiency.
•  To add google extension to chrome so that color blind peoples will be able to see content of website.

Project Implementation Method

The project starts with collecting requirements of the project topic, then some documentation will be done about the methodology of the project,  then the  modules and test cases will prepare and also dummy interface module will also build. The design document contain all the diagrams, schemas and architectures in order to give clear image of project. Then implementation and coding of website will begins according to the requirements. The webpages and database will be prepared. the dummy webpages interface will also build. Beside this, the solution of google chrome extension stated in the documentation will be implemented. Then identification of bugs or errors will be done by testing all the modules of project by all aspects. Finally the debugging will be performed and completed software which satisfies the customer will be deliver.   

Benefits of the Project

This project will give opportunity to color blind peoples that they will be able to see and differentiate among the colors on the website in which they have problem. This project let the person know about his/her deficiency through color blindness test and the one can get the solution.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We will design a test for color blindness in which we used bootstrap, HTML or CSS which is website based and then there is a solution for this deficiency. This will include methods and techniques in the transformation of colors and also recognize the particular color deficiency. The solution will be we  create extension and add it in the google  chrome which changes those color which cant be seen by color blind peoples into the black so that they can easily see the content of any website.
