Project Summary

We are developing an android based game (RUN TILL DEATH -Multi Player Game). It is actually a horror game which will provide a story based scenarios. The game will be controlled through gestures by using Leap motion technology. The story of the game is distributed into ten levels. The difficulty of the game will increase on every level. Player will have to find a Key in order to get access to next level. The characters or enemies will be different for every level. The story of the game is the perfect example of Horror, Suspense and Thrill. Leap Motion will be integrated by using functions provided by Unity 3D and VR Box. It will provide a VR based environment which will enhance the game and will increase the productivity of the game.

Project Objectives

The key objectives of the game are summarized below.

  • To provide a Virtual Reality gaming concept in Pakistan’s gaming Industry.
  • To enhance Pakistan’s Software Industry in gaming world.
  • To promote sense of horror gaming in young generation of our country.
  • To provide gaming experience in which movements are controlled through Hand gestures by using Leap Motion technology.
  • To make gaming possible for every age group.
  • Using VR technology to provide real time gaming environment for the user.
  • To promote brain storming concept in horror games.

It will enhance user brain storming capabilities and will provide a thrilling experience for user.

Project Implementation Method

  • Developing a 3D Game(Unity 3D):

The game will be developed by using Unity 3D software.

  • Designing 3D environment and  objects (3D Maya):

For Designing of the game we will use 3D MAYA.

  • Integrating The game with VR box:

We will use VR BOX to provide real time gaming environment to the users. VR will be integrated through socket programming using C# and features provide by Unity Technologies.

  • Providing Leap Motion technology for gesture control (Leap Motion Device):

Game will work on gestures control techniques by integrating Leap Motion technology in our game. Leap motion will emerge as a new horizon for Pakistan’s gaming industry. For the integration of leap motion C# will be used.

  • Android Built Application:

It will be android game applicable for every phone except IPhone. Android Studio will be used for development of the game.

  • Physical Movement detection (VicoVR):

It is a Bluetooth device which will be used for full body physical movement detection.

The Benefits we will gain from our project are as under:

  •  Enhancement of Pakistan Gaming Industry:

It will enhance Pakistan’s gaming industry and will promote locally built games in the society

  • To make familiar with VR and Leap Motion Technology:

It will provide a real time gaming environment and make people familiar with VR and leap motion technology.

  • Promoting Horror Fiction Genre:

It will promote sense of horror gaming among people.

  • 3D game provided on android environment:

It will be a 3D game provided on an android environment.

  • Concept of Brain Storming:

Concept of Brain Storming will be provided within the game. Features will be added which will provide Brain storming to enhance brain capabilities of a person.
