The system is placed in a product line context. Which aims to serve the public  transport sector. Since the condition of public transport is terrible in our country,  furthermore, people don't feel safe anymore in traveling those old model buses and  rickshaws. Therefore, people tend to travel in private cabs but they are not  affordable due to their high fares and charges. However, commuting to school,  college, universities, offices is a need so they have to spend half of their salary  just on transportation. This app is for all of those people who are facing this issue  each and Ride Share mobile application through which people can do their daily  traveling very easily at a very cheap rate as compared to other car service providers  such as Uber and career, by sharing the ride with other people who are passing  through the same route.

Project Objectives

Transportation is a major issue these days. One of the most used means of  communication in roadways. One of the major forms of road transport consists of  the private passenger car. These cars are generally used with only a single rider.  An overabundance of cars creates various problems which includes increased  traffic, increase pollution, parking congestion and many more. Car sharing aims  at solving this problem by targeting the empty seats in the private cars. Employees  of the same area or the students going to the same school can carpool. This can be  done as the know each other and can communicate. But when going on an inter city trip you are not aware if some other person also intends to make the same  journey. Thus, the applications help you in seeing people and journey schedules  and make an informed decision about do you wish to travel alone or save money  and travel with a safe company. Furthermore, carpooling has documented social  and environmental benefits that include:  

It helps in reducing traffic congestion as number of vehicles on the road can be  reduced significantly. Miles of travel of a particular vehicle and emission of gases  by the vehicles can also be reduced. As the system aims at the empty seats it  increases vehicle occupancy. More efficient land use as parking requirement is  reduced. Thus, also helps in saving cost of building and maintaining infrastructure. 

Our application is an attempt to make a system which is user friendly and provides  an opportunity to share cars. We intent on making an application which would be  help the users to upload, view and register for journeys both short distance (daily  commute to work) and long intercity trips. The system will be designed taking into 

consideration the users need about safety

Project Implementation Method

We are using agile methodology for our project. The Agile software development  methodology is one of the simplest and effective processes to turn a vision for a  business need into software solutions.  

Phase-1  

This our planning phase called phase I where we will identify our stakeholders  (Group members) that will work with us.  

Phase-II  

This is analysis phase where we will gather the requirement according to the given  problem statement  

Phase-III  

In this design phase we will breakdown the task gives to our group member and  they will complete according to the given time period to achieve our goal  

Phase-1V  

This is the execution time where the coding is started and side by side testing also.  if their any bug or error it will be iterate and generate the defect report 

Phase-V  

In this last phase we will make our project Cloud native for the Ease to Scale  Server Resources, Redundant Server Environment, High Availability, Speedy  Server Setup Process, Safety From Server Hardware Issues, Faster Speed and  Performance, Works Great for Sites With Scalable Traffic, Simple Server  Management Dashboard the project will deploy this is the implementation phase 

Benefits of the Project

The principle of dynamic carpooling is in local real-time to send the "user carpooler." If we choose to travel with standard vehicles, we can contact the  service a few minutes before departure. The service then searches for the best  driver to give the desired car-sharing service on the chosen route. In recent years,  there has been growing creation of modern information and communication  technology, particularly with the growth of the Internet and mobile telephones.  New knowledge and networking systems are therefore closely linked with the  changing area of mobility. Policies and processes introduced for sustainable  mobility in this field. New forms of transportation aim to find a space for them  and promote emerging mobility technologies such as shared cars. It has been  shown that these programs utilize modern knowledge and communication  technology, particularly recently, to evolve via telephone. The aim of this project  is, in this sense, to decide how often smartphone car sharing access can be utilized.  This tool seems important in specific typical vehicle use encounters and seems a  significant factor in growing its scope by simplifying access and use. The method  is versatile and provides a high standard of operation with a reasonable number of  participants: the probability of having a shared vehicle is reasonable. This scheme  complements mass transit – on-demand and daily – and complementary options  such as bicycle terminals.

In this application the system constraints are: 

I. Users can not make a call 

II. User can not set the notification in Application 

III. Cannot use the simple features without internet 

EXTERNAL INTERFACE REQUIREMENTS 

Hardware Interfaces 

Users are required to use any version or model of android with a sim card or wifi  network to execute our system. The permission to access the microphone and  camera must be granted by phone. It is compatible with all the browsers and can  be run on any operating system and processor. 

Software Interfaces 

Another server that will be used is Google Map Server to provide geographical  service and to visualize transportations. Database management system is required  software product for Carpool system because all data about system for example  user and route information must be stored in database for later use and system  functionality.
