Remotely operated underwater vehicle are generally known as ROV. In the present era there are numbers of companies developing remotely operated underwater vehicle. ROVs are used for numerous reasons and with the passage of time the area of its operations is increasing at a very rapid speed. By the variation in the environment changes and execution strategies without human invention and learning ability to improve performance is one of the ultimate goal in the research of robotics. The development of underwater robots having a complex behavior. There has been a significant importance in developing stabilizing algorithms for under actuated systems because of extensive range of the applications of under actuated systems in Marine vehicle (e.g. submersible, surface vessels).
Objectives of the project are the following.
The ultimate job of our ROV is that it enables the ROV to find and detect lots of floating objects and grab the by using robotic gripper. It is usually supported from the surface by using shore teams, ship platform or some times bigger submarines. Submersible is differ from submarine in that a submarine has a full capacity to renew its own power and breathing air and doesn’t required to operate by an individual from the surface. There are many types of submersibles including both crewed and uncrewed crafts which are usually known as Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle ROV. Submersible are used for different like adventure, ocean exploration, oceanography, equipment maintenance and recovery
The ROVs are controlled by human from the shore or from the ship dock that is why they are mounted with cameras and lights. This kind of technology has made the complex underwater job much easier. In the past when there were no efficient ROV technology, the professional divers were used to carry out underwater tasks which acquire a lot of risk to the lives of divers. Due the intervention of ROV technology the human can carried out underwater jobs without being exposed to any harm.
