The transformer one of the most important in power system And its static device electrical energy transfer from one circuit to another circuit. As we know that, Transformer is the heat of whole power system ,its very essential to protect them from various faults and for vital reliable performance.
A power system is said to be faulty when the undesirable conditions occur in power system that undesirable condition must be short circuits ,over current ,under current and over ,under voltages etc. The power transformer is one of the essential equipment in the electric power system.
Transformer protection is an essential part of electrical power system. Electrical power system experience at faults various time due to its various reasons there faults must be foreseen and safety precautions to the applied power system.
Remote based project protection of Transformer ‘ main attention is to reduced or overcome the fault occurred in the transformer. To prevent the transformer from the fault due to the over current ,temperature rise in the transformer and over voltage we used relay and sensor.in this methodology by using temperature are continuously monitored or sense by the controller .
if the supply voltage and load current across the threshold value which the previously set value are programed and protection scheme operate and trip the load.

• The main aim of the project is transformer sharing whenever load is increased for certain value and also sending this change in information to the respective
authority via SMS by using GSM modem.
• The objective of this project is to protect the domestic supply and power transformer from power.
• To protect the transformer from dysfunctional due to the overloading currents, high voltage spikes over heating of transformers.
• Arduino And GSM based project protection of Transformer ‘ main attention is to reduced or overcome the fault occurred in the transformer.

•For transmission of electrical power three phase supply requires less copper or less conducting material then that of single phase system for given volt-Amperes and voltage rating . Hence three phase system is economical compared to single phase system.
•Being prewired and ready to install,these can be easier to install. To provide the same KVA, the core material required is very less compared to a bank of three single phase transformers. it is lighter and smaller. It requires less space to install.
•A three-wire three-phase circuit is usually more economical than an equivalent two-wire single-phase circuit at a same line to ground voltage because it uses less conductor material to transmit a given amount of electrical power.
•Three phase transformer used in industry and for the transmission of power which have alot of problems if we can done our protection system then we easily handeled alot of problem, if our load increase or decrease the system will show load on different phase which can check easily and we awere alot of problem we can solve when our system has remote control.
In power system, transformer is an electrical equipment which supplies power from the generating station to consumers directly. transformer has a long service if they are operated under rated conditions. Their life is significantly reduced if they are subjected to overloading and voltage unbalance for a long time. Overloading and ineffective cooling of transformers is the major cause of failure in distribution transformer .According to the above requirements, we need a distribution transformer real-time monitoring system to detect all operating parameters such as winding and oil temperature, oil level, load current, and voltage output continuously and sent to the monitoring Centre in time.This system can detect faults during under voltage, over current, high winding temperature and isolate the transformer from the source. It can communicate which transformer is under fault by obtaining its location using GPS and what type of fault has been occurred to authorized persons (lineman, engineer, substation, powerhouse etc.,) via SMS using Remote technology
