In IOT enabled weather monitoring system project, Raspberry Pi measures 9 weather parameters using respective 9 sensors. These sensors are temperature sensor, humidity sensor, light sensor, Oxygen sensor, Dust sensor, Air Pressure sensor, Rain sensor, Wind Direction sensor and Wind Speed sensor. These 9 sensors are directly connected to Raspberry Pi since it has an inbuilt Analog to digital converter. Raspberry Pi process and calculates these values and sends these parameters to the Internet using IOT techniques. The process of sending data to the internet using Wi-Fi is repeated after constant time intervals. Then the user needs to visit a particular website to view this data. The project connects and stores the data on a web server. Thus the user gets Live reporting of weather conditions. This project can also predict future weather conditions upto 7 days.
To provide online visualization of weather conditions to help individuals or different companies to decide where to install solar panels or not, whats the best place to install wind turbines, whats the best place for agriculture. Also, in Pakistan our weather is becoming dynamic and keeps on changing every year due to global warming, so this project can provide real-time weather parameters 24/7 which can help us understand changing conditions so we can get more alert and start finding its solutions. Dwellers of areas of extreme weather can get most benefited from this project.
This Project consist of two parts, software implementaion method and then hardware implementaion method. Project software implementation consist of checking the whole project circuit through software (proteus) and scanning the compatability of components with each other, after it the project will be implemented in terms of hardware and all 9 sensors will be connected to the raspberry pi which read and process sensor values and upload it to the cloud service using IOT technique from where anyone around the globe can access it.

5. We can predict weather upto 7 days with the help of this project.
1. Reads temperature from 0 to 100 degree celsius.
2. Calculate light intensity from 0 to 65535 lux.
3. Oxygen sensor range from 0 to 25%.
4. Detect dust particles larger than 0.8?m in diameter.
5. Air Pressure range from 15 to 115 kPa.
6. Rain sensor driving ability over 15mA.
7. Humidity detection range from 20% to 90%.
8. Detect wind speed from 3 mph to 125+ mph.
9. Detect wind direction from 0 to 360 degrees magnetic with Threshold speed of less than 0.3m/s.
