Project Summary

Our system is “Saleh Inventory Management System” which is sponsored project and is designed according to the requirement of our client. It is a web-based application that can be run on Windows, Mac OS and mobile devices. The system will handle all the record of employees, managers and admin. It also keeps record of products as well as maintain the installments timely. Managing the installments manually is very stressful job, but by using a simple web portal it can be easily managed. Customer is facilitated to order the product online without going to showroom and the corresponding confirmation code message will be sent to customer mobile phone, then customer have to enter the authorization code for verification. After verification, the order summary will be displayed to confirm the order. The system generates bills and user can take print out automatically using the printer. 

Project Objectives

The main objectives of our system are to:

• Maintain the records of Purchase, Sales and Stock in seconds.
• Main goal is to automate the process carried out in the company with improved performance.
• Provide a user-friendly interface even to a person who is illiterate.
• Manage the record of employees and inventory items in less time.
• Customer can buy products and bikes without going to showroom

Project Implementation Method

We have implemented the proposed solution using:

• Bracket
• Xampp Apache server

Benefits of the Project

Our client wants to shift their existing manual system into fully automated system. Previously they don't have any computer infrastructure and hence they require a software to manage their showroom. The purpose of this system is to implement the computerization of the vehicles details and installment of vehicles payment. There are a lot of softwares in market, but they are expensive, and some are difficult to use. Client is bit interested in building up his own customized software because of the following reasons:

• Require a specific functionality according to his needs
• Require verification of online orders
• Require Analytical customized reports 
• Require financial calculations customer Installment control
• Don’t want to learn a pre-build software
• Require customized features only according to his need.
