Project Area of Specialization Augmented and Virtual RealityProject SummaryThis project proposes the idea of augmented reality(AR) which will be the upcoming future of Pakistan in technologyOur project ”prospectus on the go” is where we will digitalize our university prospectus into an android application and IOS application we will launch it on play store as well with a flavor of AR (augmented reality).The language that's used in Unity is called C# (pronounced C-sharp). All the languages that Unity operates with are object-oriented scripting languages. Like any language, scripting languages have syntax, or parts of speech, and the primary parts are called variables, functions, and classes.
With the assistance of C# scripting, designers can make effectives scenes and creative prefebs. In our project we will discuss the view of our university Such as, campus overview, members/faculty profile, library and laboratories overview, canteens and other service rooms which are included in the prospectus through 3D modeling, We will use a software named "Unity" “Whiteboard” "After Effect" and some More by using this platform we will describe the basic information about the course outline and other things . as well as we make characters of our chancellor,vice cancellor and other heads persons of the departments through animated videos , There will be a feature whenever the user will scan a picture of chairman or any other head faculty member they can have a short look on their interview or if user scan the text there is a short overview about the text inform of video or animation , all these things will be stored on cloud which is easily accessable .
By this application, students will be allowed to use the camera to scan the prospectus. Every page and every important field of the prospectus will show a written description or a descriptive video according to the scan result. By this, students will learn more about the university and its facilities.
Project ObjectivesTo easily add advanced computer vision functionality to application and to create Augmented Reality experience that realistically interact with the campus environment, the Vuforia engie will be used. As it is a widely used software development kit platform for augmented reality project development for leading smart phones, tablets, and eyewears. It is an advanced tool and with its support our designing team will draw visual technologies to recognize and track planar medias and 3D objects in real time. Vuforia is not unlimited to use for free, but it provides a limited offer to use its platform which will be enough for the use.
To test this application, a virtual software environment will be used. With the help of testing, it will be easy to overcome the problems and drawbacks of the project. After the simulation testing, the APK file will be created to test the project on an Android smartphone.
The ultimate goal of our digital prospectus project is to create a convenient and natural immersion. This project will assist the students to understand and learn more about the prospectus. Because it is interesting to use the softcopy application instead of the hardcopy catalyst. Also, this application will include many other things, e.g: important events.
The important objectives of this application are:

- Overview of co-curricular activities.
- Defining the facilities (libraries, auditoriams, laboratories and medical etc)
- Background information
- Arial overview
- 3D models of building
- Objectives of managing committee
- Informative Interviews
- Addressing of social networks, blogs and sites.
- Mode of admission rules and respects.
- Overview of department
- Detailed maps and locations.
In implemtation process there is a desiging phase where we will be initiated by creating an environment on 3D Unity Engine by using the augmented reality tools and libraries.Creating application related to Andorid and IOS (designing of UI ) both after that create a model of university . and their departs , making a overview of all university by using drone . then taking the short interviews of our chairman ,vice chancellor , dean , factly members and so on in form of text , videos images and then making the character such as 3d model of them . and making the animation videos on animation softwares or after effect software related to text or information further more disscuss the all information which is given in prospectus
The obtained multimedia will be saved on a database or cloud server which will be accessed by an Android Application and ios application then purchased the domain for launching the application
A virtual assisting application will be downloaded to test the augmented reality scan results in the initial states. After the completion of project, the both application will be tested on any a smartphone

In this project " Prospectus on the Go " where we digitilized the prospectus through th favlours of AR , form the very fisrt the desigining of 3D model of university in which setting the size , length or wide of the model according to archiecture .
after that, creation of characters of chancellor , VC , chairman and other faculty members then record the short interviews of them and then import the voice into the models
In the third step develpoing the animated videos or animations of objects according to the prospect which is inculed written information , iamges and so on .the rendering process take some time conversion of text into voice or speech . White board , Aftereffect software is going to be used.
In 4th step the creation of AR applaiction in Unity for both andorid and ios , developing user interface UI for the user setting the canvas of the button tab so on creation the pages in application , aftre that there is an other important step which is target all the charactres, models, animations videos in some objecst which is builtin object in unity or we cretae them , we aslo used assets store or probuilder or toolkit in unity when ever user scan the specific object its show the model, character , informatoin about the coures ans so on . the most important part to calculated the postion of the camera for overlay the virtual graphics overview
In 5th step the buy the domain for both applucaion and launching them after that test the applicctaion.
