Project Summary

Being member of the university, a student/teacher has always in his mind to plan something special. I.e., Workshops, Gatherings, Session, Tea Parties, Birthday’s celebration and many more events. But that has to be managed by using Phone calls and WhatsApp messages. Even assigning the task is done by these previously mentioned platforms. In the end, there is not one unit system where these all things can be managed at one place. So, my aim is to make a platform, typically a cross platform mobile application, where any one can create any kind of event like mentioned above. The event planner can also request to add team members, invite guests, add notes, assign tasks to team members, remove guests and tasks, and complete event after it has been successfully executed. The main purpose of this application is to reduce the efforts of planner and giving them a platform, which is more interactive and easier to use with lots of features for creating and managing events using smart phone. This application will provide a professional way of creating and managing events.

Project Objectives

1. Reduce the manual work of students for managing any kind of events at university.

2. It will reduce the efforts of students by using mobile phone at any place.

3. It will provide a freindly user interface to manage all kinds of events digitally.

4. An efficient and professional way of organizing events by using an specific application only for events.

5. In addition to students, anyone can also organize events that happens at small level.

6. Easy interface to notify all members of events at once.

Project Implementation Method

Typically our project is based upon cross platform mobile application that will be developed using React native at front-end and Nodejs+expressJs at the backend.

First of all we be making the prototype for our application using figma or adobeXd for UI/Ux design. After that will be making backend of our application using nodeJs and expressJS for APIs. There will be MonogDB as database for our application. We will be using online MongoDB platform. After the completion of backend we will move to the Front-end of our application using React native technology. After that we will integrate our backend with front-end. We will do beta test to get feedback from our user and after satisfaction from the users, we will deploy our application on some third party server for 24/7 services.

Benefits of the Project

The main and major benefit of our application is to reduce the efforts of users by using an specific platform that is only for events, that is managed and has user friendly interface to interact with. It is very easy to plan events and add members within short period of time using your smart  phones at anywhere. Any user is able to create events and add members and assign them tasks that they will be notified through notifications. The user will be having a statistics dashboard to see their pending or completed tasks. This application will digitalize these manual works in a professional and managed way. Moreover it will make peoples lives easier and well organized.
