This software provides a new platform for online courier controlling system. User can visit, register, login, search the branches, put parcel detail, sender and receiver detail and payment method at one platform anytime. This software is developed with scalability in mind. Additional modules can be easily added when necessary. The software is developed with modular approach. All modules in the system have been tested with valid data and invalid data and everything work successfully. Thus, the system has fulfilled all the objectives identified and is able to replace the existing system. The project has been completed successfully with the maximum satisfaction of any user. The constraints are met and overcome successfully. The system is designed as like it was decided in the design phase. The project gives good idea on developing a full-fledged application satisfying the user requirements. The system is very flexible and versatile. His software has user-friendly screen that enables the user without any inconvenience. Validation checks induced have greatly reduced errors.

Project Objectives

Our main goal and objective is just to focus on the reliability and fast effective application that makes the user feel easy to use. The application’s features and usability is made easy for all type of users.

This project deals with the Courier Tracking and controlling. The system use for daily activities such as booking, loading, delivery, check status about courier and managing branches and branch agents. It is very difficult to do this process manually. Hence it is recommended to computerize the all process by developing the relative website as the world is turning into information and technology i-e computerization becomes necessary in all walks of life.

Project Implementation Method

This phase related to installing the software on the client side. The various procedure are involved for implementing a software which include giving documentation of the software to the client which consist of basic as well as technical part. It also includes giving proper training sessions and presentations to the client

regarding the working of the software. It also includes checking of various hardware resources available with the client and making sure the software is running properly on this machine.

Benefits of the Project

The new system titled “courier tracking and controlling system” is hence purposed to remove all the problems in the existing system discussed above.

The new system is a web application which avoids more manual hours that need to spend in record keeping and generating reports. This application keep the data in the centralized way which  is available to all the users simultaneously. It is very easy to manage historical data in database. No specific training is required for the employees to use this application. They can easily use the tools that decrease manual hours spending for normal things and hence increases the performance. As the data is centralized it is very easy to maintain the status of the goods booked in all branches.
