Online Blood Donation website is related to blood donation and Acquisition. This project acts as an important role in saving life of human beings. As we are watching on daily basis that peoples are standing with placard requesting for blood on public places. As we have many blood donation agencies but they have no operational link with the community in terms of sending donations or no one can have information about the blood, he/she needed and the blood availability. To make the process easy and transparent, the project Online Blood Donation System is proposed. This project will solve the problem faced by the patients once doctors advised them for blood injection. Many issues are faced while getting the healthy blood in a timely manner with the desired group. Even many patients are so critical; and due to unavailability of blood timely, they lost their lives. There should be an ICT based solution or system that solves/resolve the above issue so transparently with less effort.

Project Objectives

The main objective of our project is that by using the internet people within the district or

coming from separate, by sitting in their home can simply search the desired blood.

? Different patients, different zones population and other resources within the regions can

get and donate blood accordingly.

? Before going to wrong place to waste time and cash it is beneficial to primarily search the

desire blood through this website.

Project Implementation Method

The proposed system is based on a real world implementation and used by patient and donor for blood donation and acquisition. All authentic users can be capable to use this website because it is web based and easily accessible through any browser.

Benefits of the Project

The aim was to identify the features and preferences of a blood donation online webapp.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

This system will provide an online platform to provide information to the blood seekers and donors. By using this system donors can update their profile, blood donation history and medical report. Blood seekers can see the details of the available donors, find nearest blood banks, hospitals and other health care centers. Seekers could contact to the donors by searching the profile of appropriate/relevant donors. Admin will authenticate and approve the sign up requests from the Donors, seekers, hospital or health care centers.The new online system will be easy to manipulate and will decrease the time to manage the blood seeker/ donor record. It will provide standard online system benefit like accuracy, efficient mechanism to manage existing records etc. It will help to reduce the record management effort.
