Modeling of wind and solar energy conversion system in smart grid
In Pakistan future Electrical Energy System will be based on the concept of Smart Grid. Smart grid is complex system and its analysis through numerical models is needed to recommend smart solutions. In this project for the analysis of the Smart Grid, we model Smart Grid system in Matlab/Simulink. Our main focus will be to model the integration of Solar and Wind Energy conversion system. Simulink has integral feature that any model developed can be converted to low level languages such as System C, VHDL and therefore the model can be tested in hardware setup such as FPGA/DSP. Therefore, in the Second step, our goal will be load the optimized version of the developed model in embedded system.

Understanding Smart Grid Technology
