The microgrid controller becomes essential for balancing power and load management. In this project at first phase Power Management Unit(PMU) is designed and proposed scheme is based on two control strategies: Master-slave Control and Droop Control are applied to test module software based. In second phase the project is designed in physical form among these control strategies suitable controller is implemented in our scheme based.

This project is divided into two parts.
1- Software base by using MATLAB
2- Hardware ( physically ) base.

• Power Management unit is designed to provide uninterrupted, 24/7 power and to balance load demands for an organization with changing power needs.
• Improve the operation and stability of Microgrid.
• Automatic transition from grid-connected to islanded mode to provide uninterrupted power to microgrid loads during abnormal power system operation conditions.
