Project Summary

Yneer Pk is an application that provides person to person cargo services throughout Pakistan. A requester will post their request and location. A traveler will post their trip to another city. The application will connect the requester to traveler so both of the parties can have a win-win situation at their hands.

Project Objectives

Enable people to post requests, and travelers to post the space/weight they can spare for extra baggage.

The requester will be connected to a suitable travelers on the basis of several factors (demand, space, time till destination etc.).

Baggage will be delivered in the required time.

Project Implementation Method

Implementation will be done by using react native as a main tool for development purposes along with Android studio. For backend storage and authentication we will use Google Firebase.
First objective will be the development of user friendly interfaces for both the Traveler and Requester Modules of the project. Next, the authentication will be tested by connecting firebase to react native. For integration of different modules in the project for example maps, navigation of application, side menus and regular components to be used, we will use different APIs from github repositories. For backend connectivity of requester and traveler most probably we will bring Socket I/O API to our advantage. After that the Admin panel for managing main operations of the application we will use react js for web page implementation.

[11:04 PM, 2/27/2020] Abdur Rehman: Our goal is to enable the people of Pakistan to be able to send or recieve packages between cities without worrying about courier fees. Our application will enable any person with a smartphone in this country to be able to transport goods for their fellow Pakistanis at a reasonable rate.
On the other hand a person can just post a request on the application and it will connect him/her to the most suitable traveler. This will enable people of Pakistan to save money on transportation of goods and on the other hand provide a source of income for the unemployed. One only needs a vehicle and a liscence.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The mobile application will work on iOS versions 9.0 or newer and on Android versions 4.1 and newer.
