Technologies are impacting on each aspects of daily life and even those for the handy caps and visually impaired. They need continuous assistance in outdoor and indoor environment. World health organization estimated that approximately 1.3 billion people live with some form of vision impairment. Approximately 80% of all vision impairment globally is considered avoidable. State-of-the-art available resources for visually impaired are not fulfilling their basics need. So, there is need to provide more assistance to visual impairments particular in less developed countries. A few navigation tools and frameworks are accessible for visually impaired. The most important tools are guide dogs and white canes. However, their performance is limited by speediness, coverage, and capacity. So there need a device that detect the objects correctly and provide the visually impaired with a voice output. To achieve this goal, cameras will be fixed on glasses to record videos of the surroundings to detect the objects and convert the object detection into voice. These glasses will be the replacement of white canes.
Objectives
The objective of this study is to help visually impaired by visualization using cameras and audio. To give information about surroundings and to provide a device to serve the communities.
For the accomplishment ,the existing systems that has been used or using in the current era will be studied. After analysis those systems select an appropriate algorithm/API. On the basis of background, study design architecture for visual impairment. After all the process that takes place will be testified and will be implemented.
The benefits of this study to help those people that are visually impaired,so they can avoid dangerous situation and accidents that occurs in many aspects. This study will help to reduce the difficulties of visually impaired. It will be light weight.
While using object detection and appropriate algorithm , it will give the output in the audio that will help the visually impaired.
