The pet & poultry market is massive in Pakistan. People often like to have a pet at home. Poultry farming is also getting fame for large productivity and profit. Small pets at home can share your life and help in building a sense of responsibility in children. In Pakistan people mostly love to have a dog at home, that can be a security guard & your favorite pet. Other small pets such as cats, birds, rabbits, and fish are also owned by people.

The pets & poultry market is growing in Pakistan that’s why we decide to transform the physical market of pets and poultry into an online marketplace. Through this platform, everyone will buy their favorite pet from all around the country at a reasonable price.

When different sellers provide the same pet or service then the buyer can choose from a range of pets with different prices. The biggest challenge for us is to deliver the pet or product to the buyer on time and safely. Our main focus is safe, secure, and on-time delivery in selected regions.

The most prominent features are the Pet Monitoring Device. This device will help us to monitor the environment of the cage in which we will deliver the pet to the buyer. Small pets and birds needed to be in a specific environment and temperature for services. Some pets are used to cold environments they will not survive in hot temperate. Through this device, the user can keep track of the environment. In case of high temperature, a fan will start to cool the environment and in a cold environment, a small light will Enlighted and provide heat to the pet. All the monitoring details can be measured through a mobile application continuously. This device will ensure the safety of the pet during delivery.

In the first stage, all the system and user requirements are gathered. After the detailed analysis of requirements, the next step is to document those requirements. During this stage, the business analysis is also done to know the market value of the project. The survey is also conducted to get an overview of public needs and expectations. Most people think a platform for pets would help them in business and daily life as well.

The product architecture is also selected in this phase to have easy development ahead with detailed knowledge of the system architecture. We want to build a website and mobile application that are connected. Whether the user operates the mobile application or website he will have the same experience.

2. Design

The design of the second phase of software project development. A small and interactive project prototype is created to share with a customer at the initial stage. This way we can have the detail of customer experience and expectations.  Project functional and technical design is also completed to clarify all the requirements needed to develop the system.

3. Develop

The development phase is the most important and time taking at the same time. Based on system design, developers start building the system and implement the function and non-functional requirements. When the development is completed then testing all the test cases and use cases is mandatory. This step will secure the system and also indicate the faults in the system. When the system will finally error-free and interactive to work with, then the development phase is complete.

The IoT-based Pet Monitoring Device will also build during this process to measure the cage environment and take action. This device will continuously update the users through a mobile app.

4. Deploy

In this phase, the system is deployed to the hosting server. And then testing is also done to remove all the ambiguities from it. When the system is shifted to the hosting server then it will be available for everyone to manage and operate. People will start creating accounts and pet ads to get the most out of it. User training if needed also done in this phase.

The pet delivery home safely and within a few days is not provided by any companies currently in Pakistan. Because pet size can vary from small to large, then you have to take care of their food and water needs. Such as small birds cannot survive without water and food for a long time. We will introduce new pet services which will deliver the pet in selected cities.

1. A seller can create his store and enlist ads for pets.
2. A buyer can search ad, place order, track order detail gives reviews on delivered order, and follow his favorite seller’s store for future updates.
3. A seller can promote his ads to get more views in search results.
4. A buyer can add multiple pets to a cart and place an order with various payment methods for the user’s ease.
5. A buyer can search for various pets and apply filters to refine the search results. A complete pet ad detail helps then to distinguish the best pet ad among different ads.
6. A pet Wallet is like a digital wallet that will help the users to store their cash within the marketplace and to make payments easily.
7. A buyer can track the order detail, to get the information about order status and location at the current time as well.
8. A customer help service will help the users against any queries regarding the marketplace. The users can also any type of issue they face such as delivery issues, report the sellers, the account is blocked, and many others.
9. A Pet Monitoring Device that will monitor the cage environment and take actions if needed automatically. All the monitoring details can be watched through the mobile app.
