The objective of this system is to digitalize and create an automated system of LCWU gym. The system will perform the task like adding or removing the member or keeping the payments records and other stuff required in managing the gym properly. The information about the various things contained in the system are like members, trainers, equipment details and timetable of different batches.

The members can have options like workout and diet plans accordign to theri BMI, and fee payment record,change batch requests etc.

Project Objectives

The objective of this system is to digitalize and create mobile application for the LCWU fitness club.

 The system will perform the task like adding or removing the member or keeping the payments records and other stuff required in managing the gym properly. The information about the various things contained in the system are like members, trainers, equipments details,workout plans on basis of BMI of members and timetable of different batches.

Project Implementation Method

Through this methodology, the complexity of the conventional method which is a combination of folders, spreadsheets, emails, and for the management of members’ information and payment info will be reduce. It will be a unified system in which all the processes from registration to payment lies in one system.

Benefits of the Project

Modernizing is taking over all the systems and digitalizing helps them to improve in so many particular ways. Our proposed   "Lcwu Gym Management System" is for the manual gym system of Lahore College for Women University.

This project is designed to facilitate gym to automate its operations of keeping records and store them in form of a large and user-friendly database further facilitating easy access to the personnel. The Lcwu Gym Management System will help the administration in speeding up the tasks at the same time reducing the complexity and create an automated system. The system will have the features like adding the new member to the gym, removing the member or keeping the payments records and other stuff required in managing the gym properly.

The information about the various features contained in the system are like members, trainers, the equipment can get by just a few clicks unlike the paper documents required the serious reading for such information. It helps in creating the various batch according to their preference or if they want a particular trainer. It made it easy to generate the reports of various operations performed in the gym are like paying the fee it can be stored and later evaluated and get the list of members who did not pay the fee. It also helps the users in reducing the carbon footprint as the amount of paper used in the company reduces. 

This will improve the transparency between the members which is always a good quality in the system. It will also give a layer of security to the administration and the users that only authorized users can access by their credentials.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We are implementing our project through android studio, using Java for backend and xml markup language for frontend. We are using 4 laptops each has 4GB RAM.
