Project Title

Impact of Electric and Magnetic field on farmers working near HVTL and analyzing its effects in different weather conditions by developing software

Project Area of Specialization Electrical/Electronic EngineeringProject Summary

Our project is completely research based, whereas it covers all the basic parts from magnetic and electric field to the worst effects of electro-magnetic field.Due to harmful exposures of electric and magnetic field, many farmers working under HVT lines or having their residences especially in rural areas, suffering through severe unseen effects in the form of different diseases eg cancer, Neurodegenerative disorders,Cardiovascular disorders, etc. Furthermore our transmission company does not have any software that can calculate different parameters responsible for the adverse effects.

We are figuring out to overcome these complications in a way of making a model on LABVIEW based on GUI to identify the effects of different weather conditions on electric field and evaluating the safe limits for each weather condition.Identifying the major consequences of the exposures of electric field on humans working under it with the help of medical researches.Conduct a survey to analyze what  sort of diseases people are suffering from specifically village areas.eg: headache, cancer, leukemia etc. through medical study and with the help of doctors

our calculation is based on these 3 things

Transmission line data

Conductor

Tower

Overhead lines

Project Objectives

Our main objective is:

1.To develope software based on GUI and use different sensors such as humidity Sensor, temperature Sensor and distance Sensor to take real-time data regarding EMF.

2.To analyze the main symptoms farmers are dealing with, under the high voltage transmission lines, above the field area.

3.To accumulate the data through survey forms.

Project Implementation Method

Our project is completely research based, whereas it covers all the basic parts from magnetic and electric field to the worst effects of EMF(electro-magnetic field).

Research based on medical study, surveys to different areas and assisting people suffering there by collecting their personal and technical data, concluding it with the help of proper calculations strategy. Our calculations are based on Transmission line data, Conductor, Tower and Overhead lines in a proper tabular form.

Furthermore we have conducted the surveys in different areas to gather all the personal data of  workers/ farmers working under high voltage transmission lines and determining the symptoms they are suffering through.

Due to electric and magnetic field some common diseases found among them are Cancer, Directly effect on Neurobehaviour, Damage Neuroendocrine system,Neurodegenerative disorders,Cardiovascular disorders,Immunology and hematology,Headache,Leukemia and Contraction.

Secondly we are developing GUI based software  which helps to bring output of the electric field exposures with the help of different parameters given as input such as what are different weather conditions effecting electric field, how people of different ages are being effecting through it, what are the regions and areas need more protection.

In addition to above all,we are using various sensors including Humidity Sensor,Temperature Sensor ,Distance Sensor and aurduino connected with software to get real time data.

Benefits of the Project
  1. The major focus of our project is to ponder over the severe problems facing by the farmers in rural areas through harmful exposures of electric and magnetic field under high voltage transmission lines, so it would be our priority to give them peaceful environment as they are providing us with the basic necessaties of our daily life. This is the first researched base project ever to focus on this severity.
  2. The project is of highly recommendable to many areas suffering most importantly power transmission and distribution companies, safety institutions & hospitals.
  3. Most importantly our project is including a software to bring simplicity for people of different regions.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable

SOFTWARE PART

Our final deliverable project includes the software part and a little hardware part to show the output of real time data.

Initially we collect the data and formulae related to our project from the different research papers such as:

1.Calculation of electric and magnetic field

 2.Tower Design(its type and labeling)

3.Calculation based on the following along with their data representation:

weather conditions(humidity and temperature)

Transmission line data

Conductor

Tower

Overhead lines

Furthermore we have made a survey form which includes all the technical data such as how much voltage and current passsing through overhead lines, length of tower, space between the lines and ground etc, need to be acquired from the different regions.

HARDWARE PART

We use different sensors to take real-time data regarding EMF.

Humidity Sensor

Temperature Sensor

Distance Sensor

Gauss sensor  in order to collect the real time data.
