Our project focuses on making an NLP-based model that recognizes human language i.e Urdu and then translates it into the English language. The use case of this application will be that it will be beneficial for elderly people and people in the education system. It focuses on reducing the communication gap between people speaking Urdu.
Project Objectives
- To focus on making an NLP-based model that recognizes human spoken language i.e Urdu and then translates it into the written English language.
- To reduce the communication gap.
Project Implementation Method
Mobile application based on flutter that will use https protocol to communicate with the end point to perform the translation based on model in the server
Benefits of the Project
There are often times when people with less education or elderly are unable to understand the English language with their devices such as mobile or computer and they want to perform some activity but due to language barrier, they can’t. This makes the people stand far from the technologies. This software will resolve these people's issues and will allow them to freely utilize their devices.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable
- We will make a model for recognizing human spoken Urdu language that will be deployed on a server.
- We will develop an end point i.e API that will be implemented in a mobile application which will take audio input from the user and then send it to the server and receive a response back from the server through the API.
- In the development phase, we will use the Agile development model in our implementation.
