Project ObjectivesThe objectives of this project
- To capture IRIS image from standard mobile camera.
- Recognize IRIS as a password code for biometric validation.
- To test and compare different biometric iris recognition algorithms. (Publication)
Follwing are the methods we will be using
- Image will be captured, then it will be sent to our server.
- Image will be enhanced using one of our function.
- Then it will be sent to the next step for feature extraction and then segmentation and finally recognizing the iris pattren.
With that we will be making our own mobile app which can allow the users to login in easily using their phone cameras.
Benefits of the ProjectFollowing are the benefits from the project:
- We can easily use our standard mobile cameras for iris recognition.
- It will be easier to make it as all alone digital id of a person.
An andriod application will be made to lead the control for the algorithm.
Minimum Requirements
- Any andriod mobile phone with 5 mega pixels of front camera.
- A stand camera and rasberry pie for client end app running.
A finished product completed using c++ and python, and for controlling admin end we will be using python UI and mobile application made on andriod studio.
