Our project has a new approach toward the advertisement industry. Holographic technology has proved itself to be an excellent addition to OOH advertising due to its ability to grab attention quickly. . As the majority of people don’t have an opportunity to interact with holographic tech on a daily basis, it comes with a surprise factor that is hard to forget, making it a perfect marketing tool. With a  trend of moving towards 3D and  Virtual Reality, Holographic System will dominate the display, advertising, and entertainment industries. In our project, we used a holographic activation system that projected 3D visuals display of ads to promote different brands which are controlled through IoT. It offers marketers increased targeting flexibility, making it something of a cross between online digital and OOH advertising. Because standard digital OOH ads have a fixed location, targeting and tracking capabilities are limited. With this, marketers can display a particular ad based on micro-geographical targeting and variables like driver routes, surrounding traffic, subway stops by using vehicles like uber,careem, etc. Through this, we can monitor vehicle routes by a google tracking system so it also provides security assurance. In our project, it's up to the driver which ads he wants to display, where, and for how much time. So basically it is a commercially viable project and new in Pakistan, best for a startup.

Project Objectives

The main objective of our project is to display advertisements on vehicles rooftop by using hologram & LCD display that is controlled through IoT. It also gives the facility to that vehicle driver, because he has all control over which ads he wants to display, where and for how much time by just sitting inside the car. This is all done by IoT interfacing.  As we know that the goal of advertising is to reach maximum people most likely to be willing to pay for a company's products or services and entice them to buy so in this project we attract many people by hologram display on vehicle rooftop because it's a new way of advertisement, unlike other common ways which use in Pakistan. We also take care of all security issues by monitoring our project's vehicle 24/7 by google tracking system in that car. Let’s assume that  our project used by  uber,careem etc then it will facilitate many  drivers  which  shows ads on his vehicle through our project ,they will  get large amount of money  by that brand owner and it also beneficial for people who hire their cars , they get discount  on book their rides with ads , and it’s all done through our app which we design in order to provide details of rides with ads. So this project is profitable for many peoples.

Project Implementation Method

HOLOGRAM DISPLAY:

First, we make hologram display through the acrylic sheet, and for display, we make a special hologram video of the brand's logo which shows on top of the car where LCD placed in horizontal and acrylic sheet placed like pyramid shape on LCD.So hologram display shows brands logo while we place another LCD in a vertical position which shows the whole video of ads. If the acrylic hologram failed we replace it with a hologram module that works exactly the same.

IoT Interfacing and App designing:

The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical object devices, vehicles, buildings, and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity that enables these objects to collect and exchange data. Combine this Both You can control your home appliances from anywhere where we can access the Internet.
It is totally based on the cloud services offered by Blynk

The First task is to set up the ESP for the programming.

then we need to put it in programming mode. Once a program is being uploaded we need to pull down reset to ground once and then, the programming mode is enabled.
we first take the main board and put it inside the box. Now assemble all parts. Then we attach the esp 8266 to the header. Then we connect the switch to Vcc and the relay header. The relay was connected to the header with a female to male wire.
After everything was in its place we assemble the case and power it on to enjoy the Light controlled by wifi and IoT. This work is all done by connecting wirelessly our smart device like a phone, tablet to the LCD which placed on a car rooftop.

In this app, we add options for customers “Ride with ads”& “Ride without ads” in addition to it it also gives information about if they chose to ride with ads then their fair charge less than without ad ride but for this, the vehicle has to stop for min. 1 min at stops.  So it's their choice whether they chose to ride with ads or without ads.

Benefits of the Project Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Connect LCD and hologram display with a smart device to control advertisement display from inside the car.

The driver has the access to show ads according to his convenience through IoT interfacing.

Develop an app in which we give the option to customers to choose ride with or without ads and it also monitors the position of the vehicle by google tracking system install inside the car.
