Project Objectives- To control water consumption
- To make system independent from grid electricity
- Continuously monitoring the status of soil and provide signal for taking necessary actions
In the proposed Irrigation system IoT is implemented, in this system all the information that are received from the sensors and the various parameters are given to the arduino-uno microcontroller as an analog input. A preset value of soil moisture sensor is fixed in microcontroller and also for fencing. When it goes beyond the particular threshold value the gate of the desired field gets open and water enter the field and start irrigating.once the water requirement is fullfilled the gates get closed using smart phone.

- To protect the crops through over watering for crops to grow healthy.
- To know the water level of canal/river.
