Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryThe project team will propose an IOT Irrigation and Weather Reporting System.One is related to irrigation monitoring and controlling system and the second is weather reporting system.In this project, the project team can control and monitor the supply of water from remote location as well as proposed system allows the people to directly check the weather status online without the need of a weather forecasting agency.It will help to know about the current temperature, humidity, moisture and the rain by using temperature sensor and humidity sensor respectively.In this project, sensors keep checking the temperature, humidity and rain level and update the data on website. A user can see the details of sensor and according to need of crops or plants he can supply the water just by a click on motor status. Farmers have to work on different part of land so one man cannot take care of the land for water supply.
Project ObjectivesThis project can also prove to be useful for agriculture, parks and lawns. Because we know that agriculture is considered as a basic for life for us and it is the main source of food. And it plays a vital role in growth of country’s economy. The project team is going to make a smart irrigation system. This project will be based on Internet of Things (IOT). This project will consist of some electronic hardware and software. The purpose of this project is to save the time, cost and water that is a big problem for incoming world. The project team will control the agriculture system through a web server. As well as in this project, the project team will establish a weather reporting system. That will be second part or this project. Smart irrigation system will help to save the water and loss of many crops.
Project Implementation MethodThis project is basically idea of our supervisor. After some study about this idea we finalize it. And make many plans how to deliver it. Then we gather some information from farmers so that we achieve a good project in form of implementation. After that we did many research on sensors and their working. How we can achieve cost effective project. In first part we design a software interface for our project. So that user can access it through a remote place. In our second part we design our hardware and integrate it with software.
Benefits of the ProjectThis project will be based on Internet of Things (IOT). This project will consist of some electronic hardware and software. The purpose of this project is to save the time, cost and water that is a big problem for incoming world. The project team will control the agriculture system through a web server. As well as in this project, the project team will establish a weather reporting system. That will be second part or this project. Smart irrigation system will help to save the water and loss of many crops.The project team want to save the wastage of water and eliminate the manual labor on field for irrigation by proposing this system. This project will help to farmers to save the time, cost and wastage of water.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableIOT Based Smart Irrigation System will be fully implemented in both form software and hardware. It will be in working condition and will be deployed online.
