Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryThe Basic need of this product for those industries/homes where people are working with toxic gases and its leakage that causes their deaths. This project will be serving as life saving device for them.
This is an IOT based gas detection, alarming and monitoring system, which will detect the gas leakage if its concentration exceeds it will trigger alarm and will send a notification to the mobile app and a call will be generated to the concerned authorities.
While even before any hazardous situation occurs the real time data by the sensors through the app can be monitored by the person in charge.
All the real time data of sensors like current temprature, humidity level, gas concentration will visible on smart phone.
Project ObjectivesThe main objective of the work is designing IoT micro-controller based toxic gas detecting, monitoring and alerting system.The hazardous gases like LPG, Carbon monoxide and Methane etc will be sensed.
If the hazardous gases exceed the normal level then an alarm is triggered immediately at the incident place and also an alert message on mobile phone is sent to the authorized person through the internet.
All the real time data of sensors like current temprature, humidity level, gas concentration will visible on smart phone.
That provide real time response and accurate detection of an emergency and in turn leading faster control over critical situation
Design Hardware:
- Prepare Schematic/EDGE device (Use of WEMOS and Fritizing Eagle PCB for schematics)
- Aurdiono IDE for ahrdware coding.
- Enable sensors to detect gas and Trigger alarm.
- Setup communication medium.(Wireless)

- Develop device driver.
- Build UI (Android).
- Receive all real time data from sensors and display in app.
- Enable alarming system in the app.
•Cloud and AI
- Store All real time data of sensors on Cloud through Python coding.
- Machine learning to analyze pattern and extract data
There is no system in place that detects and arrests multiple gas leakages and provides the real time visual data through mobile application.
Even with all the modern building techniques and technologies, installation of gas leakage detection systems in the Industry, house, especially in the kitchen, is neglected, and this creates a fire hazard safety gap that can lead to serious disaster

- Starts an alarm in case of high gas leakage
