Project Summary

IOT based distribution panel is the type of panel which used for to distributing the input source to different output load while operating with smart techniques. For this purpose we will be using an android app to  perform the various task  like controlling and operating  function and  also showing the current, voltage, power factor to user on mobile screen. It is also showing the above factors on the LCD for the user. It’s improving the load power factor. Raspberry Pi Programming it can interface analogue quantities i.e. current and voltage Power factor improvement and load management.

Project Objectives

  • To design an autonomous distribution Panel Switch on/off appliances smartly, Utility bill can be managed in bounded limits, Make monitoring of all appliances in industries or commercial 

  • Be able to understand the designing of different Distribution panel  i.e. wire selection, breakers, load distribution
  • Maintaining of power factor
  • Be able to establish a Wi-Fi based communication
  • Be able to provide a community service by which every user may see how power is being distributed with in commercial or industries and see the consumption of units

Project Implementation Method

  • Our project is contain a hadware and software combination keeping this factor in mind we have to impliment  our project according to the following methodolgy. 
  • The 3-phase source will enter to a main breaker
  • Then the DC source will be enable for the on condition of the Raspberry Pi.
  • Then it will be read or take the information from the Current Transformers & Potential Transformers  and will be provide the platform for the user to make its decision .
  • Thus the command will be given through a mobile app to perform a particular task.

  • The panel should  fulfil the user requirements. It will be helpful for the Industrial purpose.
  • User can be able to observe the different parameters from anywhere because of smart system ability.
  • It is use for power factor improvement in industry
  • It is easily operated due to IOT based   
  • It will be available at suitable price from open market.
