IoT solutions for asset tracking make it easy to connect and manage all your assets from a single web-based IoT portal. this level of insight helps you understand where assets are, how they are being utilized, and what actions need to be taken to keep assets in play at all times. There's no more guesswork. This feature is useful if you need to optimize your warehouse stock and maintain an accurate log of each product’s location. It’ll give you a single view of where all of your products are stored. Using this System is essential to tracking inventory items and ensuring smooth functioning operations while items are constantly in movement throughout any storage facility.

A properly integrated asset management solution can help the organization accurately and efficiently track any of the assets.  As the main concern is to have accurate information on each specific item, like location and its condition. The asset tracking software is the brains behind any system as it is the source of all our asset information and dictates how you interact with this information. Normally, we will be running an instance of the software on a desktop PC while the mobile devices will have a stripped-down version of the software for functions needed in the field. Depending on our need for real-time or batch updates, certain software will support one or the other. The desktop instance will contain the full detailed database of assets, allow printing of labels, and run a variety of reports. 1. Tracking Asset movement 

Keeping track of our assets has been a fundamental human activity since the beginning of time. Ever since the concept of ownership came into being, people have assigned intrinsic value to items and have needed to know their physical location so that they could be retrieved later. Here’s no doubt that managing assets is a vital task for any business. Businesses that deal with moving assets need to know where they are so that a proper chain of custody can be documented.

A system for tracking assets is much more effective than tracking items manually through the spreadsheet. And today's smartphones make it easy for any organization to electronically keep the tabs on their assets.

 2. Desktop GUI for Inventory Management

An inventory management system has several critical components. At its core, inventory control works by tracking the two main functions of a warehouse: receiving (incoming) and shipping (outgoing). Other activities such as the movement or relocation of inventory also take place. Raw materials are decremented and finished goods are incremented.
