Institute Information and security System is used to secure the institute from outside as well as inside from security threats & manage information regarding Students, Faculty, institute Staff, Library, Laboratories, accounts office & Administration. Institute Information and security System assists the institute in keeping all information & monitoring different areas of institute under one roof, also the information & security checks of any type regarding anything from inside the institute. This system provides users with a log in credentials for accessing the files. The system is designed to automatically organize information as its input into the system. 

Project Objectives

Institute Information and security System assists the in keeping all information & monitoring different areas of Institute under one roof, also the information & security checks of any type regarding anything from inside the Institute. This system provides users with a log in credentials for accessing the files. The system is designed to automatically organize information as its input into the system.

Project Implementation Method

We will adopt waterfall model to develop the system. In “The Waterfall” approach, the whole process of software development is divided into separate phases. The outcome of one phase acts as the input for the next phase sequentially. This means that any phase in the development process begins only if the previous phase is complete. The waterfall model is a sequential design process in which progress is seen as flowing steadily downwards (like a waterfall) through the phases of Requirement Elastration, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Maintenance and Retirement.

Benefits of the Project

Institute Information and security System will help & guide the institute management respectively about “Security Surveillance” by the Security officer (user). “Attendance” (Biometric), to maintain record of students, faculty & staff. “Class Management” to maintain data regarding attendance, entry and exit time of faculty & students in a lecture also monitoring of class rooms by CCTV cameras. “Accounts Management”, “Record Keeping”, “Library & Laboratories Management”, “Visitors Record”. This system has a large database system with Database Backup and Recovery that can be used for institute Daily Work.
