Car washing is simple activity done in order to keep the exterior of the car clean. Mostly it is done manually in automobile garage or service centers of automobile companies. This manual way of cleaning car results in more consumption of water, manpower and time. The automatic car washing system explained in this project minimizes the use of water and also manpower requirement. Our car washing system utilizes control using MOEELER PLC. There are three process involved in our car washing system namely washing, cleaning and drying. Cycles of washing includes washing with water, and then with detergent. Using this automatic car washing system, many cars can be washed and it will save time, energy and manpower. Such systems can be installed anywhere such as malls, airports, railway stations, residential buildings etc. Automation is a need of time. Today in this modern era automation helps us to save time, cost as well as manpower. Vehicles are used extensively for transportation. It is also important to have easy and effective system for maintaining the vehicles cleanliness. Our project focuses on automatic car washing system using PLC. In developed countries automatic continuous automatic car washing system is already developed and is being used extensively. In developing countries like Pakistan it is still uncommon and has lots of potential for development of such system and design. Our car washing system has three main processes namely washing, cleaning and drying, hence the exterior of the car will be washed by detecting the car on conveyor belt and further controlled by PLC. Future is all about Artificial Intelligence, according to which all the work done by human will be done accordance to human nature. Problem solving will be according to problem solving capability of human who have developed that AI. Moreover, for more advancement cars will be taken from customers and delivered back to customer after washing process. 

Main ingredient used in the process is water but according to International law (there is shortage of drinkable water so we need to save it in case we want to survive in future) we need to decrease the amount of water usage in process. So instead of water we will use other chemical detergents.

Benefits of the Project

After getting knowledge about this automatic car wash system, we concluded that such automation systems will be:
Saving time of operation
Man power reduced
Improving the economy of the system
In the future such type of automated systems will have more demanded with Solar tracker system.
It can work at different places for different time lapse

This project is controlled by plc where we have developed plc ladder diagram for each larticular function it is different from all previously made designs due to its unique portable cargo type design and cost and performance efficiency. It can bear hard enviroment the equipment used is given below
