Power electronics and computer programming become the system reliable ,efficient and provide smooth control . we (our group) are designing a hoist which works on four quadrant control method. It is design in a way to give a smooth control and desirable speed for this the equipment used are :
1) Aurdino 2) IR sensor 3)Infrared Relay module ( up and down direction control ) 4) Buck converter 5) LCD Display 16 by 2 row column 6) PMDC motor 7) veroboard 8) resistors
In this project Aurdino programming is to be done to give smooth control and understand the peoples commands. buck converter which reduces the voltage from 20v to 5 v .PMDC motor is used in hoist which implement the operations of forward motoring, forward braking, Reverse motoring and Reverse braking, 6 buttons are also to be used and LCD to give us a display. As this project is selected by us to become system efficient and make it in economical way or manner. the estimated cost fot this project is 700000 to 800000 in which includes the equipment which are enlist above ,not only this but casing for its armouring is also to be considered with time we might get some ideas to reduce its cost more. our group moto is that our university students takes interest in these projects , As now all new innovation has work related to power electronics and programming so that they get benifical from this project. This could all be done and implemented if we will get the ignite scholarship. so it is kind of you to grant us for the betterment of students learning.

we are designing a hoist which works on four quadrant forward motoring, forward braking, reverse motoring and reverse braking. we are analyzing the previous work and make it reliable and economical sound. we actually decreases the cost by reducing the losses.

After the project get implemented and project is to be done we supply the module to the industries so that they do it on larger scale for the betterment of country and also we made business on small scale.
students get the beneifit to visualize the projects and how know about the elements that are to be used in this project and also get chance to learn programming.
In this project aurdino is connected to relay , relay which is used to control direction up and down volage regulator regulate the volage of buck converter pmdc motor, 6 buttons and lcd is for display.
The benefit of hoisting system is essential for the transportation of equipment, personnel, mined ore and thus for the productivity of the mine. It consists of various components in which there are winders, ropes and electric motors. A cost effective hoisting system is a great call for small scale miners who cannot afford to import a proper hoisting system.
