HydroFarm is providing home based self-farming solution, that is a way to produce healthy fresh vegetables for daily use and it is cost effective. A lot of people wants to do farming in their house or in nearby farms, but in the current era self-farming is becoming difficult day-by-day due to increasing hurdles i.e, the shrinkage of farmable land because of developmental works for living by the societies and individuals, not having proper farming knowledge, and having less time for the care required for farms. So, the soil- less farming solutions such as hydroponics are getting popular among not only the individuals but as well as for farmars. Agricultural reserach shows that the Hydropinics system is not only the soil-less farming solution but it is also less disease prone, provides better growth and production rate, and relatively easy to manage. Hydroponics system require controlled environment i.e, temperature, humidity, light, water quality, and proper mixture of fertilizers. Manually managing environment for hydroponics system is a very difficult job. Most people do not have the proper knowledge of hydroponics system`s requirements.
Hydrofarm provides  a software-based solution:
1. To manage the hydroponics with ease and efficiency.
2. It provides a well-structured knowledge base for farmers of all levels of experince i.e, from beginner to advanced.
3. It also provides an online store to purchase all required products related to hydroponics farming. It provides a web-based admin portal and mobile application for customers.

 
Project Objectives

The objective of developing of this system to produce healthy vegetable plant and controlling system environment through smart phones. This would help those people who wants to do plantation at home.
The main objectives are listed below:
1. Produce healthy plants.
2. To reduce travel time for user to get products (giving platform as store).
3. Providing guidline for the whole process of plantation.
4. Providing control system through smart phones.

 
Project Implementation Method

HydroFrm is a web, android app and hardware based solution being developed in Laravel and java along with bootstrap, java script, HTML 5, CSS 3 and ohers. So, in our case all of the basic libraries along with several others will be used in mentioned technologies. In hardware part python will be used to communicate the hardware with android app.

By using all these technologies will let the customer to add there plantation task and complete the task by following the well structured guide. If customer need any sort of product then customer can buy the product from HydroFarm store.

Benefits of the Project

As self-farming is a solution to produce fresh and healthy vegetables. From HydroFarm where user can get well-structured guide along with plantation schedule and place order according to the need of plantation task through this system store while sitting at home and controlling the hydroponic device through this system manually as well as automatically on smartphone.

 
Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The final result of HydroFarm will be in both software and hardware.

1: In software there would be two platform for actors, one for admin and other for user.
User will be able to get guide according to need and add plantation tasks to get schedule in the form of timeline to complete the plantation process. In order to need product related plantation process user will be able to order through HydroFarm store and get product cash on delivery. User will be able to control hydroponic device in both ways manually and automatically through mobile application.
Admin will be able to hold the data of all type of users and plantation tasks ad generate reports of plantation task.

2: In hardware there would be HydroFarm box in which hydroponic device along with sensors. These will be control through mobile application to maintain the environment of HydroFarm Hardware system to produce healthy vegetables.
