In this project we are trying to implement the Holographic Technology to increase the learning capacity and increase student attention towards a lecture.
The Holographic fan is a device that is capable of displaying digital imagery such that they appear to be suspended in air. Seeing that this technology is not that much utilized in the educational field, thus we want to see how much this increase the attention of the student while listening and observing the diagrams displayed over such a device. The fan is implemented/structured in such a way then when an animation is displayed over it, it appears to be in a 3D format, which will make it better for displaying complex models.
The Fan will be assisted by a mobile application that we will design to control what is displayed over the holographic fan. The application will feature controls that will allow the lecturer to navigate between the Digital Imagery and have better control over the 3D objects being shown over it.

The project is implemented in both hardware and software. The hardware will consists of the fan. The software will consist of the mobile application that will be used to control the hardware.
The hardware portion is actually bought. We will initially try to implement the control over the already built Holographic fan. But in case that the fan is not working or showing compatibility towards the controls as we intend them to then we will be implementing that control using the Arduino modules.
The control will be implemented through software (mobile application) that is on the control device (smartphone). We will develop this by using either REACT Native or Android Studio.
The project in its final state will have two items.
One, a Holographic Fan that is able to show imagery that is loaded and displayed by the control device. The fan will be taking input from the control device via wireless link and display it accordingly over the propellers.
Two, a mobile application that will be the controlling device of the Holographic fan and will be connected to the fan via wireless link. The function of the mobile application will be to navigate through different images. The images are stored in the storage space of the mobile device. It will also be equipped with tools to show and control the 3D models/diagrams that will be displayed. The controls will generally include rotation and zoom at start
