Project ObjectivesThe aim of the project is to design and construct a home automation that will switch on or off the households connected to it by using voice recognition technology. The main objective of the development of Smart Home is to provide benefits to the people and make their life more comfortable and easy and to provide more safety and security by the secured system. One can easily operate the household appliances through voice and can live a more modernized lifestyle. The another objective behind creating the project is to save time, cost and electricity. Project Implementation MethodAlthough home equipment is no longer what we do think about “smart,” they have been a fantastic fulfillment in the early twentieth century. These achievements commenced with the first engine-powered vacuum cleaner in 1901. A greater practical electricity-powered vacuum used to be invented in 1907. Throughout two decades’ refrigerators would be invented, as well as clothes dryers, washing machines irons, toasters machines. It was once a remarkable time for absolutely everyone who used to be employed as a maid through a
very prosperous family. Home Appliances Controller, began to increase in popularity in the early 2000s. As such, different technology began to emerge. Home controller suddenly became a more affordable option, and therefore a viable technology for consumers. Domestic technologies, home networking, and other gadgets began to appear on store shelves
After reviewing all the previous system and technologies we conclude that many works have been done on the home automation. A home appliances controller contains a connection between wireless communication, sensors, monitoring and tracking. Smart homes are a huge system that includes multiple technologies and applications that can be used to provide security and control of the home easily. In this project is to build a smart home device which can be used to control the home appliances via internet and by voice. The home automation device that you build can be integrated with almost all the home appliances and can be used to control them remotely from any part of the world. To facilitate the wireless connectivity with the system, the Arduino Mega will be embedded with a Wi-Fi module. This establishes the internet connection to the system and all the home appliances can in turn be connected and controlled by internet.
