HoloX is a holographic tool specially designed to give a 3d feel of any scene/image. An evolving technology will reveal itself on the scale of presentation where traditional visualization will be replaced by objective representations of ideas. This will offer an advanced form of presenting ideas through objects and interacting with them. The images presented using this tool would be viewed from all four dimensions. User will be able to zoom in/zoom out and pass the objects by the gestures of their hands.HoloX is a holographic tool specially designed to give a 3d feel of any scene/image.
The first main objective is to provide holographic experience on a very low cost. Holographic printers are readily available in the market but are not very economical for a normal person. We aim to design such a tool which will give holographic experience from four dimensions in comparatively low cost.The second main objective is to replace the traditional presentation tools and to make better understanding through better visualization because what you see helps more in grasping the matter. The third objective is to improve user experience of explaining and apprehending the intended designs.
The hardware of the product will be comprised of a screen/projectors and a transparent glass prism of pyramid shape while sensors and cameras will be attached to the prism for the detection hands gestures for basic operations like zoom in/zoom out, swipe left and righ . A 3d image will be formed in the air of any image or a video with help of these hardware equipments and software tool which we plan to code in Python using OpenCv libarary for image processing mainly. And some part for imaging we will also be integrating it with matlab.
The first and foremost benefit of HoloX is that this will help people all over the world for the better understanding of the ideas and it is not only limited for one field it could help in every field around the globe.
The product we are making is very economical as compared to the similar technologies (which are a not as same as this). A normal person can have a taste of future at a very minimal cost.The thing which is in the making right now is a revolutionary tool which will help in connecting people, giving the world a user experience like never before.
The commercial aspects of this tool are very beneficial. For instance, its use in the explanation of architectures of buildings can make lives of engineers very easy.

The above image shows the technical details and hardware Design/Architecture of the HoloX. It explains the use of all the equipments in the development of whole product. The software/tool is a desktop application coded in Python programming language using Open CV library.
Holox contains two components Hardware and software.
Hardware: For 3D display of object a 4 Dimensional Glass prism will be used on which when Image is projected through the Screen or projector. It will create a 3D image through multiple reflections.
Screen/Projector is attached to the 3D Glass prism for projecting the Reflection of Image and Videos which produces Hologram.
A Camera will be attached at the Corner of the Prism for Motion Detection which will recognize hand gesture/ movement. When the user moves his hand to left or right the Slide moves accordingly.
A Microphone will be attached at the Corner of the Prism for Voice Recognition which when user speaks commands like “move right” or “move left” the Slides moves accordingly.
Raspberry pi will be connected to the flat screen which will be connected to a glass pyramid. The images/ videos will be displayed in the middle of the glass pyramid using reflections.
Software: A Desktop Tool where User can create multiple slides and add Images.User can Customize images by Cropping images, remove background, Zoom in, Zoom out.
When User selects Slideshow the Objects are displayed on the Prism.
