Project Summary

Our goal is to provide a platform to donor and beneficiary for making donation process easier and reliable. There are a lot of things that people want to charity or donate to poor e.g. clothes, extra furniture, toys, extra cooking wares and money. But cannot find the right person. Through this application people can able to find needy people so they could donate things and money of Zakat and Sadqa. In this application people who know and trust each other will share the details of a needy person. Project Objectives

The objectives of this mobile application Helping hand are as follow:

1. The main feature of this application to help the poor and needy through donations and charity in any form food, clothes, furniture, toys and money in the form of Zakat and Sadqa.
2. User (donor) can contact to other users for authentication of beneficiaries.
3. This application helps to find the people who really deserve donations and monetary help.
4. Donor can nominate the beneficiaries by uploading their data on the beneficiary list, so donors can easily find them.
5. If someone wants to donate something but could not find the deserving person, with the help of this application user could find one by reference of another user, who knows that beneficiary personally.
6. Users can see pictures of donations items which are uploading on mobile application, so they could tell each other who need that specific item.

Project Implementation Method

We are Android application using Android studio. 

1. The user creates the account (Sign Up/ Registration).
2. Log In to the account.
3. Recover Password if needed.
4. Make a profile.
5. Find other donors using email or phone number.
6. Upload the pictures of items to be donated.
7. Add details of beneficiary in beneficiary list.
8. Update details of beneficiary in beneficiary list
9. Remove beneficiary from beneficiary list
10. User can confirm that beneficiary is authentic
11. User can recommend a beneficiary to other users.
12. Logout the account.

Benefits of the Project

1. Providing user-friendly interface for donor.
2. Making easier and reliable way to make donations based on social trust.
3. Donor can directly involve in donation process.
