Every university has many departments, but the way to represent its information might be different for all of them. A department’s research facilities and resources come into view of a student while getting admission. A better way to represent a department’s information globally and at national level is a department’s website. Website will keep the stakeholders updated about events, international conferences, and distinctions of students. It will attract companies that might lead to offering projects in their companies. It will not only help students, faculty, software houses, different companies not only in one’s country but also worldwide. The most easily accessible way is to develop a website for a department, which successfully conveys this information to ones who need it. There are lot of queries regarding admissions in specific departments which are faced by students. This web application will help students to become aware of the admission process. Also, the courses offered by the departments in each semester will be provided. This application will try to minimize students’ problems and provide understanding at every step, may it be admission phase or after admission, course related information, faculty information etc. There will be lots of challenges we had to face. But they can be solved by making this website easily accessible. The news and events will be managed and updated on regular basis. We will commercialize this project to different university departments. Because it will attract attention of concerned persons. There is no better way to represent a department, its achievements than a website. The web application will be developed in state-of-the-art technologies like React in modular way, so that it can be extended in future.

Project Implementation Method

The project will be implemented using React and Node, for storage MongoDB will be used.
