Hazardous Environment Exploration Using Autonomous Robot
Project Area of Specialization RoboticsProject SummaryThis project aims to explore hazardous environment data using an autonomous mobile robot. This robot will also have the ability to be controlled manually. It will have necessary environmental sensors sufficient to collect the environmental data we need about a particular place. IT may have applications in disaster recovery operations, mines analysis, laboratories and industrial analysis.
Project ObjectivesThe objectives of this project are shown as following:
• Prioritize human safety
• Environment Monitoring
• Data Collection
• Research Purpose
Project Implementation MethodAutonomous stack implemented on a wheeled robot computationally powered by a raspberry pi.
Small size Robot will explore the environment by reaching in places difficult for human access. Robot will be equipped with environmental Sensors which will collect data from environment and send to server for analytical pupose. Robot will offer two modes of movement, autonomous and remote-controlled.
Benefits of the ProjectBenefits of the Project are following
• Exploration
• Search and Rescue
• Data Collection
Hazardous environment monitoring for human safty conditions such as mines, Atomic reactor labs, disaster recovery areas atc.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableFinal product will be an autonomous robot capable to identify monitor and report the atmospheric conditions of a hazardous environment for human safty conditions such as mines, Atomic reactor labs, disaster recovery areas atc.
