Arduino Mega 2560 is chosen over other boards since it is the most popularly building robot. The automated Robot will benefit the patient to take the medicine at the correct time. The robot will move from one place to another place. Meanwhile, a DC motor is used for the movement of the robot, so it can move in four directions without any constraints. If any obstacle is there it can recognize easily by the Obstacle IR sensors. In addition to this we have a temperature sensor to monitor the body temperature of the patient.
After reaching the destination in the patient room a recorded voice will be played to the take the tablet. The robot is interfaced with sensors which increase the patient considerate level in the hospital with the help of IoT technology. This approach is being suggested by our group to benefit the health sector of our country through advanced technology. Although it is still an unavoidable choice for companies in the healthcare sector to speak about machine replacement with machines, and sometimes because of the incredibly difficult but often precarious working conditions in the healthcare industry.
Although the researchers suggest at the same time that this should be structured in such a way as to increase productivity and employee satisfaction in this setting. Due to this current pandemic, as we have all been going through a tough time and want to remain inside all day all throughout covid-19 pandemic, people lean heavily on supplies of resources and medicines. While medical workers in hospitals are unable to interact with infected patients because they themselves catch the virus, so this optimal time would appear to be best for Automated Delivery of Medicines.
Project Objectives- This robotic system transforms the hospital into an autonomous system, by using IOT and Robotics.

An automated delivery system is the next evolutionary step for hospitals. It will be implemented in the hospital’s premises.
- An automated delivery robot will be completed in four modules Hardware, Software, Application and database management, and Finalization.
- Then the hospital premises will be measured and then the track will be design to access all the rooms and wards.
- The application will be downloaded on the patient's phone as he/she will be admitted to the hospital.
- The application will allow the patient or caretaker to access the order menu of the delivery system.
- The ordered items will be saved in the database to maintain a record.
- The robot will locate the rooms and will transport the ordered items to the destination.
- The project will be implemented in the hospital with elevators and internet connection so that it would be easily implemented.

An automated delivery system robot controls the operations of delivering food and documents in a hospital or in an isolated environment.
- The robot detects lines by IR sensors which will help the robot to locate its destination/room/ward.
- The robot will follow the line pattern by using TCRT IR sensors.
- The robot will run an authentication to check the correct number of the room by using an RFID sensor and reader.
- To ensure anti-collision feature the robot will use ultrasonic sensors for obstacle avoidance. The obstacle avoidance code will be designed on a specific range to stop the robot from maintaining its stability.
- The Voice feature is enabled on the robot which will allow a doctor to send a message or voice command to the staff members.
- DC pump will be installed for sanitizing and a motor driver for power circulation.
- The application for the user interface will be linked with the database so that ordered items and the room number of the user will be maintained as a record.
- The application’s interface will notify the user about the estimated delivery time of the ordered items carried by the robot.
