Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryBringing grocery at home is a big problem for people who don't have enough resources including motor bikes or cars etc. Also it can be very painful if we are busy in routine works and need our grocery delivered to our home while doing our other important works.
As there are advancements in food delivery and other single niche deliver systems like foodpanda, there are also a need of something implemented that can deliver grocery material on a single click of a button through our grocery delivery service app.
The main objective of this work is to allow users of our app to use our mobile application to order any kind of grocery product that they want and get that ordered thing delivered on their door front with 30 minutes of time. It will fulfill the requirements of bringing grocery to home for everyone no matter from what age they belong to. We will be charging a flat fee for each delivery that we will deliver.
Project ObjectivesOur main objectives include:
Provide a nice and clean user interface mobile application that users can download from playstore and start getting benefit from.
Users will need to sign up at our application.
After signing in the user will be presented a dashboard that they can use to make purchase and manage their already placed orders.
Once the user place an order, the admin will get a notification and they simply can assign it to delivery boy that will deliver the order to their respective client.
All the orders and their prices, delivery charges and delivery boys commision will be stored inside our database so that we can pay give money to the grocery stores respectively as well as pay our delivery boys.
Project Implementation MethodWe will be creating a mobile application using the most common cross platform mobile application framework called react native.
First we will create a nice and clean user interface and then we will start building its backend.
Once we start our backend then we will create database models and respective database tables to store our data.
All the user roles and their permissions will be created in the next phase.
There will be two dashboards,
i- User dashboard
It will be created for user where they will be landed after logging in successfully.
Users will be able to manage all of their orders, payment history and pending orders using their dashboard.
ii- Admin dashboard
Admin will be responsible for managing the entire application. Admin will be provided a user interface/dashboard where they will be able to manage the entire application. All the orders, their delivery details, pending and ongoing orders. Users and delivery boys and their other details will also managed by admin.

We will be able to charge both the users and store owners for our services and it will lead us in doing a successful business.
We will be able to present our users with ability to track all their expenses on grocery in particular time period.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableA cross platform mobile application will be deployed to google play store and apple store so that user using any operating system can be able to get benefit from our application.
