The Project “G. HAPS| Girls – Hostel Allotment & Permission System| GIS” is a collection of APIs that enable you to overlay your own data on a customized Google map. We create over Shah Abdul Latif University Geographical Information System SALU|GIS Map. Google powerful mapping platform including satellite imagery. With the world’s most accurate global coverage and an active mapping community making daily updates, G. HAPS users will benefit from a continually improving service. It is specially designed to facilitate the hostel girls, to get permission for leave, permission for meet the parents, to get the permission for department.

Unfortunately, many times warden is unavailable at the hostel and girls getting trouble for the permission. Through this many issue were resolved.

Project Objectives

Warden can give the permission online from anywhere within seconds.
In case of urgency or emergency of girls (like sickness or family issue, going to home) warden is not present in hostel, girls face a lot of problems in this case, that’s why we are developing this application.
Sometime for other activities girls want the permission to go the outside (like for hostel party, we needed some products from shops in university) warden is unavailable.

Through this many problem were sought out.

Project Implementation Method

Hostler sends the detailed request to warden for any king of reason like, work leave, urgent leave on behalf of parents, medical leave and meeting permission.
Warden checks the application’s validity.
If warden validate the application, she approved it, if not the reject it.

During this process hostlers have a pop up shows about the application status like pending.
