These days it is very much important to develop fool-proof ways to guarantee data security. Data
security is essential for every enterprise, irrespective of its size. It is observed that usage of data
has increased business profitability and efficiency but at the same time, it also has potential security
risks that could devastate a company. FPGAs can help achieve these objectives through the
inclusion of special features that address security needs all the way down to the device level. In this
proposal, we propose an FPGA based data security device which would make the data secure from
attacks.

Project Objectives

The main objective of the project is to achieve data security by increasing protection levels and customizing the encryption techniques.

Project Implementation Method

The project has been divided into two major domains described below.

1. Application software

2. Data encryption device.

Application software manages user activities and handle interface of confidential data by transferring data to the device for encryption, there by increasing protection layer and making system more resilient to attacks.
