Online food ordering is the process of food delivery or takeout from a local restaurant or food cooperative through a web page or app. Much like ordering consumer goods online, many of these services allow customers to keep accounts with them in order to make frequent ordering convenient. A customer will search for a favorite restaurant or food, usually filtered via type of cuisine and choose from available items, and choose delivery or pick-up.

Nafees is arguably the delicious line of restaurants within the Mirpur (AJ&K). They cook their meals with expertise that they make every kind of food taste better, not just “Supreme Chicken”. Similarly, Shake Inn is the most famous shake parlour in Mirpur (AJ&K). They named different types of milk shakes in their menu and the top selling item is “Man-Go Jellie”. The challenge is that as delightful as their dishes are but they can’t address the audience sitting home.

As you are well aware, placing orders manually (by call) is not sustainable. It is severely limiting your potential and eager desire. And it is negatively affecting how they deliver. The citizen of Mirpur (AJ&K) need an application where the restaurants and food outlets of Mirpur (AJ&K) display their menu and they can order easily and the food delivery is fast. This is the only way to grow the business of restaurants in Mirpur (AJ&K) and help out the lazy ones.

This project will be an android app for food menu of different restaurants/fast food centers of Mirpur (AJ&K) City. This application will have the menu of all restaurants and food outlets, where customers can order their desired food by using this app. Those restaurant and food outlet that we have added will show their menu according to their opening and closing time. And the order can only be placed before half an hour to the closing time. Another feature is registration. If a customer register his/herself on this application then we offer them 10% discount after successfully completed their first 50 orders. We would also provide coupons for all our customers to get some discount. And then, most importantly, we will guide people down the conversation funnel to complete the checkout process.

With this solution, we aim to grow the monthly sales of our strong stack holders and provide professional customer support to our users.

This proposal outlines in more detail how we will do it, and what you can expect along the way. But your biggest expectation should be “A one hearty food application that will provides you your favourite food to your door step”.

Project Objectives

Our aim is to provide a system that offers a platform where customers can order from their home / offices / schools / colleges and etc. They can check all restaurant’s menu under their finger tips by don’t getting panic.

Our main feature is to add food from different restaurants at one time to the cart, and then place the final order. If a customer can register his/herself then we will offer 10% discount on their successfully completed 50 orders.

Project Implementation Method

First of all we would sketch mockups of our application that how it should look like (after taking requirements completely). And what are the things that we need in it. Select color schemes.

Than we will switch to adobe illustrator (which should be licensed), and illustrate what we sketch on paper in our first step. Than we divide the work and start working on it. Meanwhile we will visit to the different software houses where android developers work on their projects, we discuss with them and get help, if needed.

We would buy a server, than we will develop a website to depict / show our information / details of what we providing, what are we, and what is our delivery process.

Finally, we will combine all modules and upload on server that we bought, release a beta version, distribute it, and get feedback. Meanwhile, we will get register ourselves on the Google Play Store, and buy a account for further uploading our application on it.

And bugs are removed, application is ready for upload, available for users. That's ou goal!

Benefits of the Project

Our end product would be an android app that meet customer requirements about food and will cover all main food outlets within Mirpur (AJ&K).

The main benefit that attracts us and we find a gap there, that people of Mirpur AJK have not any kind of food delivery system. That provide a platform where user can check out all the restaurants at one place. Add items to the cart from different restaurants under placement of a single order.

We conduct a road side survey, and the result is that the people of Mirpur AJK want a system, where they can order food at home with a single click.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The tachnical details are that, firstly this project is only available in Mirpur ajk initially. We are going to offer a 10% discount for only those customers that are registered and they must have completed their 50 orders.

The main feature is that the customer have options if they want to get them registered and then place order or they simpy place order without getting them registered.

We will expand this throughout the Kashmir, because we have two reasons. The main reason is that we have the AJK (kashmir) domicile, so that we can get ourself registered in kashmir throughout easily. and secondly, that people convert to the digital world. they want all the things on internet. They do not go outside if a system is there who sends there desired meal at their doorstep. So, we can easily expand it with your goog wishes.
