The system is going to be developed to be used in the fan industry for Testing and Analyzation of products being manufactured in the industry. It also can be used in other Electro Motor appliances (like Washing machine) manufacturing factories.

System Components
Main penal will receive data from three kind of other testing panels located on different workstations within a factory.
Each testing panel will have different meters for measurement of different parameters of electric fan and motor (i.e., Power factor, Active power, Current (Amp), Voltage, Motor starting & running current, Winding Temperature, RPM). Devices/Meters will be developed to measure these parameters of product with higher accuracy and will give TRUE RMS output readings.
System will be operated by three kind of users having different privileges.
Users:
System will store the testing record of every individual tested product of entire checked quantity from every workstation. Record of each product will be stored along with all its observed readings/results, Serial No and failed/passed tag.
Penal operator will Analyze whole testing process from main panel. He also can add limits to be applied on different parameters. System will indicate the out of limit readings which will be observed by Checker present on workstation. He will observe all readings and indication. Then he will place a sticker (printed with serial no or QR code) on every passed product. It will be helpful in checking product record if it returns from market. So clients complains can be rectified easily. Owner/manager can check testing record for any day by interacting with client-side application from any place globally. They can generate reports regarding performance, comparisons (with old record or some other standards), or analysis. They also can monitor any workstation live.
Testing equipment and meters will be placed on all workstations with their embedded displays, sensors, and indicators. Readings data from all workstations will be sent to main penal.
Main panel will be placed on central location. where testing results will be stored. Serial No or QR code will be generated for every tested product and will be placed on that product.
From main penal, data will be sent to the cloud based database and client side application will retrieve data from database..
Currently in Pakistan, no such system is available for our fan industry. They are just using some testing devices and most of the testing work is being done manually. Industry is backward as they are using nonstandard ways. If they use imported devices, they have following problems: These devices have high costs, these devices do not meet the exact requirements of the industry, Maintenance of these devices in Pakistan is not possible.
The software system is also highly needed in fan industry for the future, if they are testing a large quantity daily and they want to analyze effect of change of product formula or material. They cannot not do the analyses manually on such a large quantity. Secondly If product is returned from market, they do not have any source to trace/diagnose its faulty reason because they are not keeping testing record.
